THIS HISTORIC CHURCH OF SAN TEODORO, WHICH TAKES THE NAME The OMONIMO DISTRICT, WAS ONE OF THE OLDEST CHURCHES OF GENOA, BUT FOR REASONS URBAN WAS FUCKED IN THE nineteenth century and was rebuilt SITE IN A LITTLE AWAY THAN THE ORIGINAL! FROM 'OTHER THE STREET OF THE ROAD IS THE MARY MEN AND WOMEN'S CLOTHING STORE!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ricostruzione in stile neo-gostico di una chiesa medievale scomparsa per fae posto all'ampliamento del porto, si impone sul paesaggio urbano del quartiere. Non si tratta di un' importante opera di architettura, ma soprattutto l'interno appare gradevole. La facciata è stata sottoposta ad un lungo restauro terminato nel 2017
Neo-Gostic style reconstruction of a medieval church which disappeared due to the fact that it was placed next to the expansion of the port, it imposes itself on the urban landscape of the district. It is not an important architectural work, but above all the interior appears pleasant. The façade has undergone a lengthy restoration completed in 2017

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa in stile neogotico (1870-1876). Quella originale era una delle chiese più antiche di Genova (1100) ma, per ragioni urbanistiche, venne demolita e ricostruita poco distante. Nella nuova sede vennero trasferite numerose opere d'arte fra cui due tombe cinquecentesche dei Lomellini. Molto suggestiva e di notevole impatto visivo anche se alcune opere purtroppo non sono in buono stato.
Church in neo-Gothic style (1870-1876). The original one was one of the oldest churches in Genoa (1100) but, for urban planning reasons, it was demolished and rebuilt nearby. In the new location numerous works of art were transferred including two tombs sixteenth of Lomellini. Very impressive and with high impact, although some works are unfortunately not in good condition.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa maestosa in stile neogotico, gestita dai padri dell'Istituto del Verbo Incarnato sempre sorridenti e molto ospitali (il celebrante alla fine della Messa saluta sempre tutti).
Nelle parti alte della navata centrale sono riportati i 10 comandamenti e inoltre sono presenti statue rappresentanti alcuni santi.
Purtroppo ho notato che alcune parti alte della chiesa sono in disfacimento e perciò si dovrebbero effettuare lavori di ristrutturazione.
Majestic church in neogothic style, run by the fathers of the Institute of the Incarnate Word, always smiling and very hospitable (the celebrant always greets everyone at the end of the Mass).
In the upper parts of the central nave the 10 commandments are shown and there are also statues representing some saints.
Unfortunately I noticed that some high parts of the church are in decay and therefore renovation works should be carried out.
