★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Molto bella la ''Chiesa Vecchia'', pieve romanica risalente al XII secolo, con una bellissima torre campanaria da poco ristrutturata. Al suo interno conserva degli affreschi attribuiti ad Antonio Vite una bellissima fonte battesimale e un ciborio opera del Michelozzo.
 The '' Chiesa Vecchia '' is very beautiful, a Romanesque church dating back to the 12th century, with a beautiful recently restored bell tower. Inside there are frescoes attributed to Antonio Vite, a beautiful baptismal font and a ciborium by Michelozzo.

It is a beautiful church. I had never been there !! Unfortunately today there was my cousin's funeral. Vincenzo. That is gone. Managgia..was YOUNG. 63 YEARS.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inaspettato tesoro di opere d'arte religiosa contemporanee: dall'architettura alle vetrate, fino agli arredi liturgici. Tra i diversi artisti cito soltanto (a mo' d'esempio) Iorio Vivarelli (autore tra l'altro del monumento alla Pace a Nagasaki e più conosciuto all'estero che in Italia). Non è da trascurare nemmeno la più antica chiesa romanica, a fianco dell'attuale, con pregevoli affreschi e due insoliti confessionali in pietra dalle forme essenziali ed elegantissime
Unexpected treasure of contemporary religious works of art: from architecture to windows, to liturgical furnishings. Among the various artists I mention only (as an example) Iorio Vivarelli (author among other things of the Peace monument in Nagasaki and better known abroad than in Italy). Nor should the older Romanesque church be overlooked, alongside the current one, with fine frescoes and two unusual stone confessionals with essential and elegant shapes

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luogo molto carino, c'è pure una gelateria di fronte ma senza un parcheggio il cui tende difficoltosa la possibilità di prendere un gelato.
PS: è il gelato più buono che abbia mai mangiato
Very nice place, there is also an ice cream parlor opposite but without a parking lot which makes it difficult to get an ice cream.
PS: it's the best ice cream I've ever eaten

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il centro nevralgico di Galciana dove si riuniscono da sempre grandi e piccini grazie al muretto che delinea il sagrato della Chiesa e che diventa cosi un'ottima seduta nei pomeriggi galcianesi (la mattina dormono tutti)
The nerve center of Galciana where young and old have always gotten together thanks to the low wall that outlines the church square and which thus becomes an excellent session in the Galcianese afternoons (everyone sleeps in the morning)
