 The place is beautiful but it is shamefully kept .... tall grass and undefined path and zero maintenance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un posto stupendo come tutta la necropoli e la zona nei dintorni. Il villaggio bizantino lí vicino lascia a bocca aperta. Il posto è assolutamente da visitare, consiglio di andare nelle ore più fredde perché il sentiero è interamente sotto il sole.
A wonderful place like the whole necropolis and the surrounding area. The Byzantine village nearby is astonishing. The place is a must visit, I recommend going in the coldest hours because the path is entirely under the sun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le foto si riferiscono unicamente alla zona tra San Micidiario e quello che viene denominato "Parcheggio Sella di Filiporto"; è un' area piacevole da visitare.
La potete raggiungere in automobile o se partite dal' "ingresso Pantalica lato Sortino" scendere fino al torrente e poi risalire sul lato opposto fino a trovare la strada asfalta e percorrerla per circa 1,5 Km.Possibilità anche tramite sentieri ma non li ho percorsi.
The photos refer only to the area between San Micidiario and what is called "Sella di Filiporto Parking"; it is a pleasant area to visit.
You can reach it by car or if you start from the "Pantalica entrance on the Sortino side" go down to the stream and then go up on the opposite side until you find the asphalted road and follow it for about 1.5 km. Possibility also via paths but I have not traveled them .
