Era una proprietà del Monastero San Paterniano di Fano. Caspessa era conosciuta sin dal XIII come Corte fortificata appunto "Casa di spessore" che dominava la Valle del Tarugo assieme ad altra fortezze Vicine come Montalto o Torricella. Pochi la conoscono perché si trova in strade interne la natura conserva querce secolari e boschi con campi e vigneti. Un posto che per gli esperti, vale la pena di visitare
