Prenotato con degli amici un tavolo per le ore 13:30 di oggi, e al nostro arrivo ci troviamo in fila con altri che avevano prenotato, ma non c'erano tavoli disponibili. Patetica la motivazione del responsabile che ci si giustifica dicendo che le prenotazioni erano state prese dal titolare che era in ospedale (a me al telefono ha risposto una donna).Serietà e professionalità inesistenti. Absolutely bad review. Booked a table with friends for 1:30 pm today, and upon our arrival we find ourselves in line with others who had booked, but there were no tables available. Pathetic motivation of the manager who is justified by saying that the reservations were taken by the owner who was in the hospital (a woman answered me on the phone). Seriousness and professionalism non-existent.
M	Mario Sannino on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un'esperienza unica, dal tramonto sul Monte Martano alla fantastica pizza al testo del rifugio (l'abbiamo provata col prosciutto crudo e formaggio e anche con il solo capocollo, speriamo di poterla riprovare con la salsiccia). Soprattutto d'estate, una scusa per stare freschi e mangiare bene ;) A unique experience, from the sunset on Monte Martano to the fantastic pizza al testo of the refuge (we tried it with raw ham and cheese and also with only the capocollo, we hope to be able to try it again with the sausage). Especially in summer, an excuse to stay cool and eat well;)

Situato a più di 1000 metri di altezza, abbiamo trovato anche la neve in quanto vi siamo stati in inverno e precisamente a febbraio. E' sicuramente molto attrattivo per il punto in alto in cui si trova, ragion per cui, quando nevica andrebbe pulito almeno lo spiazzo antistante l'entrata dove si può parcheggiare con però non poca difficoltà, dovendo infatti fare attenzione a non far slittare la macchina, se non adeguatamente attrezzati. Una volta superata la porta d'entrata si viene accolti dallo staff simpatico e celere, nonché dalla presenza di un invitante camino scoppiettante dove viene cotta sia la carne che una fantastica focaccia bianca gigante. Il luogo è davvero ospitale, in stile rustico e casareccio che tanto mi piace. Le portate sono abbondanti ma soprattutto golose a partire dagli antipasti per poi passare ai vari ottimi primi e second piatti, fino arrivare alla conclusione del pasto con ghiotti dolcetti. Unica pecca da far notare è che, a parte la sala dove è situato il camino che è l'unico ambiente caldo, l'altra sala dove siamo stati noi era freddina e si dovrebbe pertanto porre rimedio! The only flaw to point out is that, apart from the room where the fireplace is located, which is the only warm room, the other room where we were was chilly and should therefore be remedied! For the rest, nothing to complain, recommended!

From the Inn you can see all over the Assisi valey, and a short walk to the top of the mountain (15 minutes max) will provide you with a 360 view ! Food at the Refugio is good, Umbrian flat bread baked in the big fireplace, with ham and other meat. Very rustic.
