La prima chiesa di San Dalmazio, probabilmente edificata a pianta circolare su un preesistente tempio romano dedicato a Diana, fu consacrata da Papa Pasquale II nell'anno 1110. Distrutta dal Barbarossa, fu ricostruita nelle attuali forme a partire dal 1270, per concludere le navate laterali solo fra il 1560-1576. L’interno conserva opere pregevoli: il polittico Madonna con bambino, San Pietro, San Dalmazio, Annunciazione, Dio Padre Benedicente di Gandolfino da Roreto; una terracotta di Francesco Filiberti, risalente alla metà del XVsecolo, che racchiude nella parte inferiore sotto il baldacchino le figure dei santi Dalmazio, Primo e Feliciano. Il Crocifisso è del 1500 in stile genovese, il pulpito è opera pregevole del 1600. Amazing! The first church of San Dalmazio, probably built on a circular plan on an existing Roman temple dedicated to Diana, was consecrated by Pope Pasquale II in 1110. Destroyed by Barbarossa, it was rebuilt in its present form starting from 1270, to conclude the aisles lateral only between 1560-1576. The interior preserves valuable works: the polyptych Madonna with child, San Pietro, San Dalmazio, Annunciazione, Dio Padre Benedicente by Gandolfino da Roreto; a terracotta by Francesco Filiberti, dating back to the middle of the XVth century, which contains the figures of the saints Dalmazio, Primo and Feliciano in the lower part under the canopy. The Crucifix is from the 1500s in the Genoese style, the pulpit is a valuable work from the 1600s.

Merita di essere vista, è uno dei vanti di Quargnento, paese piccolo, ma con una storia antica che trova le sue radici nell'età dell'Impero Romano. The Basilica is a wonderful architectural structure, both inside and out. With its grandeur, its bell tower and its wonderful frescoes. It deserves to be seen, it is one of the prides of Quargnento, a small town, but with an ancient history that finds its roots in the age of the Roman Empire.
