R	Roberta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa è molto bella ma molto calda nei mesi estivi. i sistemi di ventilazione usati coprono solo le prime file. purtroppo in questa chiesa non hanno previsto finestre apribili lateralmente. È comunque una chiesa carina internamente. The church is very beautiful but very hot in the summer months. the ventilation systems used cover only the first rows. unfortunately, in this church there are no windows that can be opened laterally. It is still a nice church internally.

Molto curato il parco attorno, nel quale è possibile trovare molte panchine dove riposarsi. La zona è centrale e molto trafficata, ma la presenza di pista pedonale e ciclabile la rendono molto appetibile. La piazza antistante e’ anche sede della nuova casa comunale. Ultimata nel 2004 la sua inaugurazione fu funesta a causa del tentato omicidio dell’On. Principe. A causa di quello sparo, il taglio del nastro venne spostato al 20 aprile del 2005. L'imponente edificio si propone all'attenzione di chi lo osserva con la sua struttura geometrica dalle linee semplici, che si concretizzano tuttavia in un aspetto estetico di grande effetto. La composizione architettonica asseconda pienamente le richieste della nuova arte. La sua realizzazione fu oggetto di diverse critiche anche in considerazione della circostanza che l’opera ricade su una delle più importanti arterie stradali cittadine. Ha una struttura semicircolare molto ampia con Centro di ascolto sulla navata destra. Bellissime le icone e l'altare che si intravvede in fondo appena si entra. Domina con la sua maestosità l'intera piazza centrale Rossini di Rende,ben fornita di negozi,servizi, di Bar e locali di ristoro altamente qualificati anche in periodo di Covid. I proprietari sono molto attenti a rispettare e fare rispettare le regole anticovid. Un particolare plauso va a Don Pino che gestisce col suo operato la Basilica. Don Pino è da diversi anni ad accogliere chi a lui si rivolge e lo fa con una devozione che definirei quasi papale.
