★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Al giorno d'oggi il Monastero di Santa Maria degli Angeli ospita le Suore Orsoline e la loro scuola materna, ma originariamente questo complesso era il castello-ricetto duecentesco di Capriolo, utilizzato dagli abitanti del borgo franciacortino come rifugio estremo nel corso dei frequenti conflitti dell'epoca in questa terra di confine fra Brescia e Bergamo. Del nucleo originale ora, però, precisamente sopravvive poco, il mastio nella parte retrostante del castello-convento. Dopo alcuni secoli di decadenza, infatti, il Castello di Capriolo venne riadattato come convento di suore.
Nowadays the Monastery of Santa Maria degli Angeli houses the Ursuline Sisters and their nursery school, but originally this complex was the thirteenth-century castle-shelter of Capriolo, used by the inhabitants of the Franciacorta village as an extreme refuge during the frequent conflicts of the era in this borderland between Brescia and Bergamo. Now, however, little survives of the original nucleus, the keep in the rear part of the castle-convent. After a few centuries of decline, in fact, the Castle of Capriolo was adapted as a convent for nuns.
