C	Cinzia Secchi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono stata per molti anni una cliente più che soddisfatta da questa salumeria storica di corso Vercelli, ma purtroppo le ultime due esperienze , dopo il periodo di restrizioni dovute al Covid, sono state decisamente negative. I prezzi sono sempre stati alti, del tutto in linea con altre gastronomie milanesi di livello elevato, e di ciò non mi sono mai lamentata, quando i prodotti erano squisiti. Pochi giorni fa ho acquistato della cima ripiena, della galantina e dei piccoli paté in gelatina. Tutto mi è parso del tutto insapore, e, a dirla tutta, forse anche un po’ datato. Il paté in particolare era talmente insapore che non saprei dire se era di vitello, fegato o altro. Quindici giorni prima avevo provato la stessa delusione con una insalata di mare che non mi aveva convinto molto, per la presenza di pezzi buoni e teneri misti ad altri gommosi e dall’ aspetto meno invitante. Il mio giudizio ovviamente riguarda solo la gastronomia che ho provato. Immagino che i salumi e i formaggi siano quelli di sempre, essendo prodotti altrove. Devo dire comunque che mi spiace molto perché, per tanti anni, questa salumeria mi ha risolto molte serate con poca voglia o tempo per cucinare. Spero che queste mie osservazioni stimolino la proprietà a recuperare la qualità di una volta, magari anche rinunciando alla varietà dell’ offerta giornaliera. Meglio poco, ma buono. The prices have always been high, completely in line with other high-level Milanese gastronomies, and I have never complained about this, when the products were exquisite. A few days ago I bought some stuffed top, galantine and small pates in jelly. Everything seemed completely tasteless, and, to be honest, perhaps even a little dated. The pate in particular was so tasteless that I can't tell if it was veal, liver or whatever. Fifteen days earlier I had experienced the same disappointment with a seafood salad that hadn't convinced me much, due to the presence of good and tender pieces mixed with other chewy and less inviting-looking pieces. My judgment obviously concerns only the gastronomy I tried. I imagine that the meats and cheeses are the same as they always are, being produced elsewhere. However, I must say that I am very sorry because, for many years, this delicatessen has solved many evenings with little desire or time to cook. I hope that my observations will stimulate the property to recover the quality of the past, perhaps even giving up the variety of the daily offer. Better a little, but good.
