★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il mio posto preferito a Trapani, luogo rilassante e con un panorama mozzafiato..visitato in qualsiasi giorno della settimana, non ho mai atteso molto, né per il giro delle saline né per l'ingresso al museo del sale..se si va a Trapani, è una tappa obbligatoria..
My favorite place in Trapani, a relaxing place with a breathtaking view..visited any day of the week, I never waited long, neither for the tour of the salt pans nor for the entrance to the salt museum..if you go to Trapani is an obligatory stop ..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice museum, a twenty minute drive from Trapani and close to Marsala as well, with a great private guided tour for 3 euros p.p. Can't beat that. Add another Euro and you can walk around the salt basins and experience the route the salt workers walk. You can have a bite at the trattoria, but I didn't try that.
If you want to learn about hand made salt and have a nice walk on top, check this out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place to visit, also with kids.
The museum is nice and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and very entertaining. My children (4 and 7 y.o.) had a great time! They harvest the salt in August, in case you would like to see that. The museum ticket is only 3 euros per person. I absolutely recommend it!
