Daniele was an impeccable and professional host. Excellent communication from the very beginning, helpful throughout. His place has been recently remodeled with taste. The breakfast was fantastic. Location was great, right in a lovely part of Salerno. I would recommend following his recommendations regarding restaurants, day trips, etc. They've all been highlights.

The best B&B ever, and I really mean that! GREAT LOCATION, everything was walking distance from there. PERFECTLY CLEAN. Upon our arrival our host, Daniele, offer us aperitivo in our room, with a tipical product from Salerno.He took care of every little detail. Room was big, bathroom as well, a lot of towels, air-conditioning and smart TV, mini fridge (which is really works and make drinks cold). BREAKFAST was amazing. The breakfast room is so charming. All products was fresh and local. Variety of sweet and salti, fresh fruits. We loved omelette and croissants. Our host, Daniele, deserves to be called the best host ever. If you need him he will be on your disposal. He is a local guy who knows and loves his beautiful city and Campagna region, very kind and very guest oriented. Feel free to ask him for advice or suggestions. I really appreciated some tips, that he gives us, for trip to Amalfi, Positano and Capri. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to go with him on some of his private tours, which I found later that he is doing on request, but we definitely planing to come back in Salerno and of course in Salerno Antica Bed and breakfast. I stayed in this B&B for one night but would have liked to stay longer. It's a beautiful place in the heart of the old town Salerno. The room is very beautiful with a nice private bathroom, it's sparkling clean and modern, with nice touches. The bed was super comfortable and I had such a good night sleep. Daniele made sure I really enjoyed my stay and gave good recommendations on what to do in Salerno. He is very friendly, polite, hospitable and caring host. He even went an extra mile and surprised me with a small birthday cake - totally didn't expect that! The breakfast was also wonderful. I really enjoyed the opportunity of having fresh omlette and toast (in addition to sweet bread, fruits, yogurt and muesli), which is definitely not common in Italy. A perfect place to stay in Salerno. I really loved my stay and would like to return one day. Highly recommended!

Salerno Antica sets a whole new benchmark in the world of B&Bs!!! It is a fabulous place to stay and enjoy Salerno and the Amalfi coast. What I thought would be a one night stay in Salerno turned into four days after the super host Daniele showed me the hidden treasures of the city and the Amalfi coast. Never underestimate the power of a great host! Daniele has exquisite taste in everything from restaurants, things to see and do, and shopping. I am so grateful for all his suggestions - he saved me an enormous amount of time and money. My only regret is not booking sooner! Don't make this mistake! There is a reason for all these fantastic reviews! The beautiful rooms, the attention to detail, the fabulous breakfast complete with fresh pastries from the bakery - you will not be disappointed! And the location is absolutely perfect, right in the old town near great restaurants and my now favorite toy store. I will definitely return to Salerno Antica to enjoy the real Italy. Next time I'll be sure to book a private tour with Daniele!

Words can't properly express how wonderful everything about our stay at Daniele's B&B. Daniele was the best host we've ever had. Upon our arrival, he had aperitivo in our room waiting for us, he shared best restaurants, great tips for Salerno and Amalfi Coast, and each morning, we were greeted with a delicious breakfast he catered to what we liked. He truly went above and beyond in every way. When he found out we were on our honeymoon, he gave us flowers and champagne. Daniele truly has a heart of gold and did a wonderful job making us feel at home while on the other side of the world. The B&B is in a fantastic location - just a block off the beach and in the cutest part of the historic part of Salerno. It is in walking distance from the train station, ferries, and the best food. The room and building were so charming and my husband and I truly fell in love with the region. Feel free to ask him for recommendations or advice, he gave us some incredible tips. We cannot recommend this B&B enough! We will be back!!

If you are looking for a unique dolce vita experience Salerno antica with his host Daniele is what you are looking for. My husband and I had the pleasure to stay at this amazing place for almost a week back in summer 2019. Daniele is the sweetest person, he helped us plan so many of our outings , made phones calls for us and prepared us the best breakfast and cappuccino every morning! His hospitality is so genuine. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The location is amazing, close to all the restaurants and shops. Walking distance from the port where you can take a boat on a daily basis and discover every part of the Amalfi coast. Also, he helped us plan a day trip on a private boat to discover all of Amalfi and Capri. I highly recommend Daniele and Salerno Antica. I am soooo looking forward to going back .

Cannot say enough of how good this place and how nice the host Daniele is! Locate at the junction of the old town and the new district, there are various modern shops on one side and ancient stone roads, narrow streets, and various local restaurants on the other side of the B&B, and One block to the beach, 10 minutes walking from the train station. The rooms are large, well furnished, with private bathroom and balcony. Everything is cleaned every day and the cleanliness is flawless. Fabulous breakfast served in a stylishly furnished specious dinning room, with plenty of options. The host Daniele is very kind, responsible, patient and generous. He responded to every question we had in a timely and careful manner and gave necessary suggestions. He made delicious breakfast every day according to our requirements, he even made a small birthday cake for my husband’s birthday to our surprise, and his mom made us a delicious lemon cake! He gave us tours to the Amalfi coast and Pastuem with a very reasonable price, showed us the food and places that only the locals know. On the day to leave, my husband was not feeling well, he gave us extended time to check out as late as possible; also I left my sunglasses and hat in his car and didn’t realize until I was in another city, Daniele send them back to me from Italy to the US on his own cost --what a kind and responsible man he is! I am very grateful to him. Highly recommend this place, a place you won’t regret if you go. We will definitely go back when we have a chance.
