★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did Deep Dive certification with Gianluca and I can easily recommend this dive shop. Knowledgeable and really good technically. Some sites are really nice with canyons and different rock formations you can swim through.
Both Francesco and Gianluca are really patient, even with more difficult students - my girlfriend was also doing OWD there. Don't waste your time with PADI, check other (better imho) organisations. All the best guys!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my opinion, Salento Diving is THE place to go when you want to go diving in the beautiful Leuca area. Gianluca has tons of experience in teaching diving. He makes sure you learn something, enjoy the waters safely, and have a good time on the boat. I have dived in many places around the world but somehow keep coming back to Salento.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 13 year old daughter and I were looking forward to diving for our first time in Italy and the Mediterranean and Salento Diving exceeded all our expectations. It's worth noting that we drove 2 hours to be with them after researching the internet in all of Puglia.
Their location is perfect. Dive sites are beautiful and close by. Their equipment is of the highest quality. Most importantly the crew, Gianluca and Maximo were outstanding. They were fun, super experienced and made the entire experience memorable. They know every inch of the dive sites. We dove through beautiful caves and caverns and they adapted to the needs of all the divers on the boat.
I was certified in 2018 and have since been on 54 dives throughout the Caribbean, Central America, and Norway. This was one of my top diving experiences. I would recommend Salento Diving to anyone who wants to dive whether you're a new or experienced diver.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My dive experience in June with Gianluca and Massimo was the most memorable and enjoyable time!! I took the Advanced class and GianLuca is an excellent and dedicated teacher. The duo took their time to ensure you get all the material you need to be an independent diver. Gianluca was able to supplement knowledge that I had forgotten since my last dive, and did so with patience, which I appreciated a lot.
He's also quite capable at giving local tips, like where to eat and where to go, which for a tourist is invaluable.
Diving in Salento was an experience of a lifetime and am really debating coming back again before the summer ends. Thank you Gian!
