A nice and cozy place. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent with more than enough portion size (if you are worried about this). Very carefull with the details. Defenetly a great place to enjoy Japanese food.

Renowned Japanese restaurant, quiet and welcoming, one of the most appreciated in this side of the city. Dishes are well composed, fish and other ingredients fresh, good overall quality. Suitable for couples, small groups (max 6 persons I'd say) NO All you can eat, take away available.

Their plating is so mouth watering. The sashimi salmon is so fresh and the tuna's are so red which you can say it is so super fresh and Yummy ? 5 stars for it.

We went at Sakura in 3 people today, 31/12/3019, for dinner. I called for booking a table at 6:30pm for having dinner at 7:30pm and the guy that answered the phone was friendly and helpful. I asked not to have a table close to the toilet but on the other side of the restaurant and he took the note. One arrived actually they did not consider my request and pointed to a table close to the toilette. So I explicitly asked for a different one and they managed our need. Our order was quite complicated, as one of us arrived slightly later, the lady didn’t drink alcohol and one was vegetarian. Despite of this the waiters were very nice and polite. I went to this restaurant many times already and the quality is always consistent: let me say that, compared to the other japanese restaurant in Milan area, from my experience this one has the best quality/price ratio. To be practical, the prices are slightly higher than the very common all-you-can-eat restaurant, but the quality is indeed superior, even if clearly not exceptional for a high/top-level japanese food lover. We order quite many dishes and spent 92€ in three. We didn’t take any wine, coffee or dessert. To be honest, in the past I ordered green tea icecream, that I think it’s pretty tasteless. What always impressed me about this restaurant is that the chef, I guess a Chinese guy, is really passionate about his job: he is very dedicated, passionate and a person that always put professionalism in preparing the food and in presenting them on the plate. I think this restaurant is very well known and indeed recommended especially for him. If you are a japanese food passionate, I would recommend this place. Especially, if you like all-you-can-eat japanese restaurant, you’ll find this slightly (really, slightly) more expensive but definitely with more variety, much higher quality and unique recipes created by a really dedicated chef.
