★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situata ai piedi del castello nel complesso conventuale dei Carmelitani.Bella facciata rinascimentale ed interno luminoso con una bella quadreria di opere per lo più seicentesche. Bella anche la piccola cappella di S.Anatolio nel chiostro con affreschi del Caylina.
Located at the foot of the castle in the Carmelite convent complex. Beautiful Renaissance facade and bright interior with a beautiful collection of works mostly from the seventeenth century. Also beautiful is the small chapel of S.Anatolio in the cloister with frescoes by Caylina.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa molto suggestiva, i Padri Carmelitani sono molto gentili ed affabili. All'interno del convento c'e un bellissimo Chiostro ma ciò che più mi ha dato emozione è la statua della Beata Vergine del Carmelo, stupenda e mistica.

Ha una lunga e travagliata storia, che vi invito ad approfondire su Wikipedia.
In genere le chiese sono posizionate in zone centrali, questa invece rimane in parte al castello, sul colle cidneo.
Molto bella e panoramica, consiglio la visita anche del giardino limitrofe, utilizzato anche come parcheggio dalle persone che vengono fin qui a seguirne le funzioni religiose.
Consiglio però di arrivarci a piedi, il percorso è molto bello e la strada è panoramica.
È adatto anche ai bambini, non é ne lungo ne impegnativo.
Vi ho allegato un po’ di foto in modo che possiate farvene un idea.
