La facciata, interamente in marmo, è attribuita a Bernardo Fedreghini, la cui scelta architettonica, fu di utilizzare due stili diversi. Nella parte superiore, con frontone a mezza luna, obelischi laterali e croce con palme in rilievo, è intuibile uno stile ionico. Nella parte inferiore, con frontone triangolare e stemma, uno stile dorico. Le due statue, raffiguranti S.Faustino e S.Giovita, sono collocate nel mezzo dei due ordini architettonici. Quello che colpisce entrando, sono gli innumerevoli affreschi sulle volte delle tre navate e sull' intero soffitto. La navata principale,delimitata da 14 colonne è rialzata verso l'altare,dove presenta un soffitto a botte, mentre per l'intera lunghezza , è impreziosita da affreschi e da particolari soluzioni architettoniche, con finte colonne di Tommaso Sandrini(1575-1637) al centro delle quali si staglia il medaglione sagomato con la Gloria dei due santi. Se si osservano con attenzione gli affreschi del soffitto da diverse angolazioni, si noteranno degli errori prospettici, che fanno apparire alcune colonne storte. Degne di nota sono inoltre, la pala in olio della Natività, di L.Gambara,in cui la raffigurazione della nascita del Cristo, rimanda al manierismo e a sinistra dell'abside, le reliquie dei due patroni. Also noteworthy are the oil painting of the Nativity, by L. Gambara, in which the representation of the birth of Christ, refers to mannerism and to the left of the apse, the relics of the two patrons.
