Plant man einen Kirchenbesuch in Italien (abgesehen vom einer Teilnahme am Gottesdienst) sollte man bedenken, daß die einzelnen Kirchen oftmals eingeschränkte Öffnungszeiten haben. Wenn man jetzt eine bestimmte Kirche abseits der Städte sehen will und dafür eine längere Anreise in Kauf nimmt, ist es nicht erfreulich, vor verschlossenen Türen zu stehen. Es lohnt sich daher, via Internet beim jeweiligen Pfarrer die aktuellen Offnungszeiten zu erfragen. Habe das ausprobiert...funktioniert tadellos.
Unobtrusive from the outside ... inside but a splendor ... Romanesque details without end ... absolutely worth seeing.
If one is planning a church visit to Italy (apart from attending the service) one should bear in mind that the individual churches often have limited opening hours. If you now want to see a certain church away from the cities and take a longer journey in purchasing, it is not enjoyable to stand in front of closed doors. It is therefore worthwhile to inquire about the current opening hours via the Internet at the respective pastor. Have tried it ... works perfectly.
