For those who understand chocolate, walking in and smelling... experiencing it.
Been around the world and there is nothing like it.
One of the prior reviews scoffed at their chocolate. The moment the owner started with dark over milk, I knew this was nirvana.
You see, shops like Lindt often cheat by adding extra sugar. SAID offers a purer, more refined product that melts perfectly in your mouth and leaves no bitter after taste.
Further, it is an absolute experience.
Most chocolate shops at this quality are dry, clinical, out of touch, with glasses cases and expensive per piece prices.
SAID, being near a college adopts a different approach, with a full hot chocolate bar (alcohol included) during the winter. The closest experience might be to mix a old London candy store with the shelves / oddities with the finest chocolate Cafe.
Go to SAID. Experience Chocolate. Be happy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hard to believe they allow a place this sinful this close to the vatican.
If u find yourself wanting for something sweet and have somehow managed to resist ordering your 10th tiramisu somewhere else, you have to stop by this place (if you can find it).
The interior gives it an extra special feel. Stuffed with old, repurposed equipment and an AC-unit that's cranked all the way, you'll get a spell of respite from the chaos that is this city and its heat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Warm ambiance, friendly and knowledgeable people with the star of the place...the chocolate! What an amazing place. There are so many things to try, it'll make your head spin, but in a good way. High quality chocolate with creative approaches leaves you with a decadent sense of flavor. Must try. Must return if possible...a given. What a great experience in both service and taste!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great store with lots of antique chocolate stuff. Staff was not very welcoming me but at least I could look around myself. Chocolate eggs were okay but the milk chocolate with puffed rice white chocolate was nothing special. Also, the price is very high for 4 chocolate eggs that are HOLLOW (11 euro). I didn’t try the drinks but they looked okay-ish.

Google says you need to reserve a place but thats not true, just go there like any other coffee house.
