Dopo due preventivi di acquisto del tutto univoci, redatti in separata sede dai due soci e vari viaggi presso la sede della concessionaria, al momento di perfezionare l'acquisto con uno dei titolari, i preventivi consegnati venivano improvvisamente ritrattati, sulla base di motivazioni inverosimili e contraddittorie .
Anche la promessa dell'invio di una nuova proposta veniva del tutto disattesa.
