Non solo non ho ricevuto gli ormai abituali sguardi atterriti alla mia domanda su pietanze vegetariane, ma mi sono state proposte con gentilezza parecchie scelte e addirittura opzioni vegane: dalla panzanella alla parmigiana di melanzane, dai cannelloni ripieni a svariate verdure cucinate in molti modi. Tutto molto buono, casereccio e a prezzi onesti. Il mio commensale garantisce anche sulla bontà dei piatti di pesce. Si mangia in una bella piazzetta all'aperto, servizio self service.
 A true oasis for vegetarians * on holiday in this area! Not only did I not receive the now usual terrified looks at my question about vegetarian dishes, but I was kindly offered several choices and even vegan options: from panzanella to eggplant parmigiana, from stuffed cannelloni to various vegetables cooked in many ways. All very good, homemade and at fair prices. My diner also guarantees on the goodness of the fish dishes. You eat in a beautiful open air square, self service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buoni cibi, molta scelta anche per piatti da preparare, espresso. Ci hanno fatto su nostra richiesta una frittura di gamberi e calamari, ottima ed in pochi minuti.
Good foods, a lot of choice also for dishes to prepare, espresso. They made us at our request a fried shrimp and squid, excellent and in a few minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buona rosticceria in piazza del Plebiscito ad Orbetello. Al ritorno dal mare prendiamo una insalata di mare e una insalata di farro buone entrambe. Prezzi modici e personale gentile.
Good rotisserie in Piazza del Plebiscito in Orbetello. On the way back from the sea we take a seafood salad and a good spelled salad both. Moderate prices and kind staff.

Cucina vera e semplice, adatta a un pasto (pranzo o cena) veloce e senza fronzoli, ricco di sapori e tradizione.
Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo.
Per gli amanti del pesce, mi raccomando, chiedete il "primo express" fuori menu del giorno, preparato a seconda della disponibilità del pescato...gli spaghetti alle vongole più buoni che abbia mai mangiato!

Real and simple cuisine, suitable for a quick and no-frills meal (lunch or dinner), rich in flavors and tradition.
Excellent quality / price ratio.
For fish lovers, I recommend, ask for the "first express" off the menu of the day, prepared according to the availability of the fish ... the best spaghetti with clams I have ever eaten!
