★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Difficile esprimere a parole il senso di umanità, gentilezza e protezione che il Professor Cusumano trasmette verso i suoi pazienti. Il calore umano è forse dote naturale ma solo l'esercizio di una profonda dedizione allo studio, al lavoro ed alla ricerca possono creare nel paziente quel senso di protezione e sicurezza che si ha affidandosi alle cure del professore. In un mondo ancora oggi dominato da ciarlatani trovare questo studio è stato come approdare in un porto sicuro e confortevole dopo un naufragio. Vorrei inoltre spendere due parole per lo staff a supporto del professore capace non solo di assicurare impeccabilmente un servizio di alto livello professionale ai clienti ma anche di creare un ambiente confortevole in una situazione a volte di obiettivo disagio fisico e psichico.

It is difficult to express in words the sense of humanity, kindness and protection that Professor Cusumano transmits to his patients. Human warmth is perhaps a natural gift but only the exercise of a deep dedication to study, work and research can create in the patient that sense of protection and safety that one has by relying on the professor's care. In a world still dominated by charlatans, finding this studio was like landing in a safe and comfortable harbor after a shipwreck. I would also like to say a few words to the staff in support of the professor who is capable not only of impeccably ensuring a high professional level of service to clients but also of creating a comfortable environment in a situation that is sometimes of objective physical and mental discomfort.

Il Prof. Cusumano ha inquadrato immediatamente la situazione e nell'arco di tre ore sono stati eseguiti tutti gli esami necessari per valutare lo stato della mia patologia. Il Prof. Cusumano mi ha spiegato con grande scrupolo e professionalità la situazione della mia vista e le prospettive di cura. Il tutto in un clima di accoglienza ed organizzazione. Resident in Bari, I went to Rome Vision Clinic for a consultation with Prof. Cusumano. Following the conflicting opinions of other ophthalmologists, I needed an authoritative opinion. Prof. Cusumano immediately framed the situation and within three hours all the tests necessary to assess the state of my pathology were performed. Prof. Cusumano explained to me the situation of my sight and the prospects for treatment with great care and professionalism. All in an atmosphere of welcome and organization. Rome Vision Clinic by Prof. Cusumano will be an important point of reference for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "On arriving in Rome for a vacation I began to perceive flashes and floaters in my right eye. My husband quickly searched an English-speaking eye specialist on the net and found the number of Dr. Cusumano. Even though it was quite late (7.30pm), he insisted I saw him urgently as my symptoms were serious and could require emergency treatment. We went to his extremely well-equipped clinic that same evening and after having visited me he found I had a retinal rupture which he treated by laser. Both he and his very kind, well-trained staff assisted me at the clinic till 10.30pm. Over the next few days he checked me several times, and with some restrictions allowed me to continue my Italian trip, setting up appointments with colleagues who would examine me in different cities during our 2-week Italian holiday. It was a unique experience for both my husband and I. I will be eternally grateful to the Dr. for his willingness and dedication - as a patient it is something I will never forget."

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On my family summer vacation from United States to Europe, I experienced an eye emergency. While in Nice, France I noticed black, floating, string like objects and black spots in my right eye field of vision. I was diagnosed with a retinal tear on my right eye. It was treated by performing laser surgery, about a ten minute procedure. I was advice to limit my activities, not to lift heavy objects and needed to follow up after 48 hours of the procedure. I followed up with Prof. Dr. Cusumano in Rome, Italy. He went above and beyond to assist me. He gave me all the necessary traveling directions to be able to see him . Prof. Dr. Cusumano took time from his busy schedule to see me. He informed me that the surgery was successful and healing well. He advised the same post-op instructions and to continue following up as my Europe trip continued to Amsterdam and London. He was able to monitor me throughout my trip and arrange doctors follow up through The American Society of Retina Specialist (ASRS). The organization was crucial and effective in facilitating my follow up eye care.
I would like to express my most sincere gratitude to Prof. Dr. Cusumano for his assistance in my eye care.
