Nel tempo è stato in parte trasformato e sopraelevato ma conserva ancora sul prospetto un caratteristico doccione in pietra di Billiemi.
Necessita di lavori di restauro e l'abbandono e l'assenza di manutenzione peggiorano le sue condizioni
