★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magnifica costruzione che domina il paese di Capodimonte, in riva al lago di Bolsena. Oltre la passeggiata alla rocca Farnese, una visita all'isola Bisentina, molto ricca di storia. Forse dimorò nella rocca Pedro Gonzales, dove morì nel 1618. Il personaggio malato di ipertricosi, dall 'intelligenza vivissima, frequentò anche le corti di Caterina dei Medici e Margherita di Parma. Oltre al signor Pedro, la Rocca fu visitata anche da Lucrezia Borgia e Giulia Farnese, non da meno da alcuni Papi. Da non dimenticare i primi giorni d'agosto la Sagra del Coregone.
 Magnificent building overlooking the town of Capodimonte, on the shores of Lake Bolsena. Beyond the walk to the Farnese fortress, a visit to the Bisentina island, very rich in history. Beautiful view of Lake Bolsena, the tour of the small town of Capodimonte is not suitable for those who do not like windy areas but nice to do and in a short time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were passing this place on our way from Firenze to Rome. Unfortunately, in February, only few places are open and it felt like a very quiet place.
Beautiful water, beautiful nature, beautiful history and buildings. The pictures can be nice, but that should not be the only reason for a visit.
