S	Simone on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La rocca è proprietà privata e trovarla aperta è assai difficile almeno che non vi siano delle feste, ad ogni modo provate a spingere il portone e se è solo accostato domandate se potete dare un'occhiatina e probabilmente vi sarà concesso, comunque non disperate all'interno vi è molto poco da vedere. La passeggiata per raggiungerla dal paese è abbastanza breve e poco impegnativa. Sentiero molto tranquillo e facile per la famiglia (partendo dall'omonima cittadina). La roccia nera si trova a poca distanza (100m) in direzione EST rispetto alla rocca seguendo il sentiero. Non aspettatevi di poter passare tutta la giornata, 2 ore sono più che sufficienti. Have a good Sunday trip! The fortress is, as told in other reviews, a place of mysteries and legends. Very quiet and easy path for the family (starting from the homonymous town). The black rock is located a short distance (100m) to the east of the fortress following the path. Don't expect to be able to spend the whole day, 2 hours is more than enough.

In zona molti altri sentieri, di diversi livelli di difficoltà, tra cui scegliere. The inside of the fortress cannot be visited but it is worthwhile also from the outside and the quiet walk of about 1.5 km to reach it is very pleasant and suitable for all levels of training. In the area there are many other trails, of different difficulty levels, to choose from.

This privately owned home was once an Outpost. The first certain information is contained in the documents of the Plebana Church of S. Lorenzo in Cuvio and date back to March 1176 . it was restored in the Lombard period and that it was under the control of the Besozzi family as was the whole valley. In this perspective, it was a military stronghold in the struggles between the Guelphs and the Ghibellines who bloodied the territory in the 13th century until the victory of the Visconti Ghibelline party .
