Internamente purtroppo non è più accessibile per lavori in corso (ciò credo che sia dovuto allo scorso terremoto) ma si può entrare solo nella biblioteca. viene usato anche come rappresentanza, credo che vi si possano fare feste, sicuramente adatto per manifestazioni. Contrariamente ad altri castelli, il complesso architettonico non venne edificato su strutture militari preesistenti, ma venne progettato e costruito per volontà politica per controllare e difendere la popolazione centese. La rocca, situata nell'omonimo piazzale, è caratterizzata da un torrione d'ingresso, tre torri agli angoli e un alto mastio. Non sono più presenti i ponti levatoi e il fossato che circondava il castello, che venne utilizzato come prigione fino alla seconda metà del XX secolo. Consigliano di presenziare al carnevale, quindi bisognerà tornare. Beautiful town to visit if passing through, full of very nice bars and shops. The fortress is a real "gem" externally. All’interno è visitabile una mostra dì fotografia al momento ed e’ utile come momento dì relax o culturale. Consiglio vivamente Beautiful fortress in the historic center of Cento with a beautiful open square in front. Inside, a photography exhibition can be visited at the moment and is useful as a relaxing or cultural moment. I highly recommend

La città sembra una Ferrara in miniatura, peccato solo per il fatto che la rocca sia chiusa all’interno fino a data da destinarsi.
