★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ospiti di cari amici di Lago ed Amantea, per pranzo abbiamo fatto una "breve" sosta da Paolo dove abbiamo potuto provare veramente ottimi piatti della tradizione calabrese, molto genuini, gustosi e ben presentati. Davvero una bella esperienza... mi raccomando, come in tutti i ristoranti calabresi, presentarsi a digiuno almeno da un paio di giorni perché le porzioni sono letteralmente ottime ed abbondanti!
Guests of dear friends of Lago and Amantea, for lunch we made a "short" break from Paolo where we could really try excellent Calabrian dishes, very genuine, tasty and well presented. Really a nice experience ... I recommend, as in all Calabrian restaurants, to have been fasting for at least a couple of days because the portions are literally excellent and abundant!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ assolutamente da non frequentare!. trascorsa lunedi di pasquetta. accettabile solo antipasto. primo e secondo immangiabili: cibo non fresco, scarso e scotto senza possibilita di scelta. cotolette bimbi praticamente una mattobella! porzioni minime, personale scarso, locale molto sbbandonato dall ingressi all interno. da non frequentare soprattutto con bambini.
absolutely not to go !. spent Easter Monday. acceptable only appetizer. first and second inedible: food that is not fresh, scarce and overcooked with no possibility of choice. cutlets for children practically crazy! minimal portions, scarce staff, very abandoned room from the entrances to the inside. not to be frequented especially with children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent restaurant to eat at if you're looking for true calabrese homestyle cooking. If you come here to it, you have to absolutely try Paolo's famous "frittata di patate" patto frittata which is part of the "antipasto della casa" also had "straccetti over arugula and grana for my main course and it was delicious, but their menu changes every day so they don't always offer this main course.
If you enjoy genuine homestyle cooking with top quality ingredients this place is a must visit!
