★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got a tip from a friend to eat here. Was not disappointed. Had a nice spot outside. Had some great scallops, salad and pasta. The desert, traditional tiramisu was very nice, as was the house wine (even though they overcharged the single glass I got before I ordered a bottle which is way cheaper anyway). Best of all was the service, even though I ate alone and tables were in demand I did not feel rushed at all but had a very nice dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great quality food, and good service with a nice sense of humour. Waiting times weren't long, location is nice, though a little busy with cars and buses driving by.
Price is very doable for the delicious food we've eaten. Lasagna there is recommended, as is the crispy fried calamari.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice outside seatings! We had lamb chops, steak, and a bottle of wine. Food was good, not excellent. Price was on the higher end for what it had to offer. Service was excellent. Overall, it was a good experience.

First off, our server made the experience. He was attentive, made good suggestions, pleasant in interactions, brought some humour but didn't overstep either. Service was simply spot on.
The food..well they almost had to roll me out of the place as I was so full.
The smoked marlin was almost indistinguishable from a great prosciutto ham. Very flavorful and only in the last taste did the fish come through. Absolutely delicious.
As our second starter, we had baked pecorini, equally delicious.
For our mains we had fried amberjack as the daily fish, juniper beef steak which was perfectly cooked and seasoned just right.
Because it was so delicious, decided to try the tripe which was sadly sold out so tried the oxtail instead. The rich tomato sauce reminded me of a stew with the meat being tender enough to almost just slide off the bone.
We rounded out the evening with a tasty Tiramisu and a chocolate pear pastry tart which did not disappoint.
Of course wine was added to cleanse the pallet ;) or so we tell ourselves.
Highly recommend this lovely place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yummy food for sure (and more like four stars for this part of town) but better food and better value places down in Navona and Travestere. Such lovely waiters though. The fried artichoke was good but nothing special. The carbonara and seafood spaghetti were both good too. If you need a quick bite you can’t go wrong, but I wouldn’t come to it especially. They do gluten free spaghetti.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m from Rome and this is definitely one of the best place where you can eat. The food is superb, the service is flawless, the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. The prices are very reasonable in relation to the quality of the cuisine and the service you will experience. Conveniently located just 200 meters from Piazza del Popolo but away from the overcrowded streets this place is an oasis of joy in the very center of Rome. This is the reason why it might be full of tourists but make no mistakes, this is an authentic Italian gem. A must go.

We had the Giudia fried artichoke and calamari appetizers, mushroom/truffle lasagna and spaghetti with clam first course, and for the second course grilled prawns and lamb chops. Also the escarole side, which is sauteed with some pine nuts and olive. And good red wine, of course.
Lamb chops - good, but remember to ask to have them cooked to your preferred temperature (otherwise you'll get well done).
Prawns - actually sort of a cold prawn cake, with a mix of shrimp, potato, tomato, garbanzo, and maybe breadcrumb. OK but not what I was expecting.
