Bad experience. We ate for lunch on Saturday. Piedmontese appetizer poor portion and poor quality, like the rest of the lunch. Bad quality / price ratio. I do not recommend it.

Frequentavo il Ponte Barra già da ragazzo, negli anni '90, quando, seduti ai tavoli, si potevano incontrare personaggi della vecchia Torino, tra cui ricordo l'indimenticato Gipo Farassino.
Typical and authentic Piedmontese cuisine, simple and refined. Owners and staff courteous and helpful, pleasant atmosphere of yesteryear. I frequented the Ponte Barra as a boy, in the 90s, when, sitting at the tables, you could meet characters from the old Turin, including the unforgettable Gipo Farassino.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Antica trattoria torinese suggerita da amici del posto. Un'autentica rivelazione: mangiare bene nel rispetto della tradizione, cosa chiedere di più?
Tavolata di cinque equamente divisa fra tortellini in brodo e bolliti misti e agnolotti con sugo d'arrosto e coniglio al forno. Tutti gustosissimi, cotture da manuale. Nebiolo della casa. Personale avanti con gli anni, incedere lento, nessuna frenesia, premurosità e discrezione commoventi.
Gli chiedi una fetta di cotechino in più e te ne portano due. Ne usciamo pieni di riconoscenza.
Ancient Turin trattoria suggested by local friends. An authentic revelation: eat well while respecting tradition, what more could you ask for?
Table of five equally divided between tortellini in broth and mixed boiled meats and agnolotti with roast sauce and baked rabbit. All very tasty, manual cooking. Nebiolo of the house. Personal advanced in years, slow pace, no frenzy, touching thoughtfulness and discretion.
You ask them for an extra slice of cotechino and they bring you two. We leave full of gratitude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vecchio ristorante torinese con tipica cucina regionale. Molto buoni gli agnolotti e degni di nota gli antipasti. Personale gentile e discreto. Il locale avrebbe bisogno di una bella "sistemata" perché davvero trascurato, ma la vetustà è ripagata dagli ottimi prezzi.
Old Turin restaurant with typical regional cuisine. The agnolotti are very good and the appetizers are noteworthy. Polite and discreet staff. The place needs a good "fix" because it is really neglected, but the age is rewarded by the excellent prices.

Ho portato questa sera la mia mamma veneziana a conoscere la cucina tipica piemontese,volevo un posto semplice ma dove si mangiasse bene. Ecco qui che il Ristorante Barra risponde proprio a queste esigenze. Comodo con il 61. Consigliatissimo,sicuramente tornerò.
Typical Piedmontese trattoria in both style and cuisine. Very welcoming and warm, like the trattorias of the past. Great service, kind, attentive and polite waiters. Tonight I took my Venetian mother to know the typical Piedmontese cuisine, I wanted a simple place but where you ate well. Here is where the Barra Restaurant responds to these needs. Comfortable with the 61. Highly recommended, I will definitely be back.

Difficile trovare parcheggio nelle immediate vicinanze.
Piatti quasi interamente della tradizione piemontese, discreti gli antipasti (il piatto misto non proprio economico), buoni i primi (ravioli del plin e risotto al barolo, al dente), notevoli i funghi fritti.
Carta dei vini abbastanza fornita con prezzi convenienti.
Nel complesso cena piacevole con un costo tutto sommato adeguato.
Torneremo per provare gli altri piatti.

Very traditional place, well-spaced tables and discreet (in the sense of unobtrusive) and friendly staff.
Difficult to find parking in the immediate vicinity.
Dishes almost entirely of the Piedmontese tradition, discreet appetizers (the not so cheap mixed dish), good first courses (ravioli del plin and risotto al Barolo, al dente), remarkable fried mushrooms.
Fairly stocked wine list with affordable prices.
Overall a pleasant dinner with an overall adequate cost.
We will be back to try the other dishes.
