β β β β β The hotel was so beautiful and rustic but the staff is what really makes the hotel so amazing. Everyone was so accommodating and me and my mother felt right at home. We received so much help regarding booking various sites and recommendations for restaurants and such that it really was incredible. I cannot wait to come back to visit again and now my colleagues in Italy will also get to have the same experience. This experience was world class and we dont often get to see such service and hospitality like we have in Hotel dei Pittori. It was truly unique and memorable. Also, Turin was exquisite and to be so close to the city made this trip perfect. Oh and if you love music, the variety here is fantastic!

β β β β β The hotel is definitely very stylish and the breakfast choice was better than usually. However:
1. it was freezingly called in our room and turning the A/C unit to heat was making the air really unfresh, while not completely heating the room.
2. the shower was taking ages to get warm and it was leaking on the floor.
3. at the breakfast there was only one salt shaker available for all 10 tables and the service vehemently protested when we took it for a few minutes to our table.

β β β β β What a great surprise in Turin. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and well appointed. The balcony from our room was spacious and included a large couch, table and view of the street below. The steam shower was an extra bonus that was not expected. The staff was helpful and friendlier than you could ever expect. The restaurant offers a fantastic menu and wine selection while not being too expensive. We would go back here in a heartbeat.

β β β β β Food is not great and hides itself behind flashy fusion-like names in the menu. Ambience is ok, but it's part of a hotel and it shows. Service is undecided between courteous/formal and friendly/open. I wouldn't consider it, unless you are staying in the hotel for one night and all other places in the area are booked. Meh...

β β β β β Had the tasting menu. Some interesting dishes, but nothing amazing taste-wise. For the main course, the beef was good, but the accompanying potatoes were bland and dry. The mousse desert was particularly disappointing - high in sugar with an unpleasant texture.
When we pointed out we were charged an extra bottle of wine, the staff refused to take us seriously until we showed them the bill. Ended up being charged 3 times for the dinner due to issues with their POS. We had to leave my card details with them, as payment would not go through. Despite agreeing they'd wait for the previous payment to settle, the staff used the card details to make a payment as soon as we left the restaurant (my Revolut app has instant payment notifications).
So mediocre food for the price and very poor handling of a delicate situation.

β β β β β Super amazing experience living at the hotel, was as perfect as it could be. The room was clean and well furnished. Everything was of top quality be it the complimentary breakfast or the room itself. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay wonderful and were available 24 hours. They even let me store my luggage for a few hours after check out. Whenever I come to Torino, this is the first choice.
