Finalmente un ristorante con una toilette bella e pulita, il che non è poco. Beautiful restaurant, cozy and distinctive. Great dishes at the right price. Excellent management. Finally a restaurant with a nice and clean toilet, which is not cheap.

S	S.D. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dopo la visita del caratteristico borgo di Alatri e data l'ora di pranzo, poco prima dell'uscita del borgo sotto un arco abbiamo scorto l'ingresso di questo ristorante. I pochi tavoli all'aperto erano occupati e ci siamo accomodati all'interno. Luogo molto caratteristico, curato e ben tenuto, oltre ad essere molto ampio. Abbiamo mangiato degli ottimi primi ed un buon tagliere di salumi. Prezzi nella media dei borghi ciociari. Il personale molto gentile e cortese. After visiting the characteristic village of Alatri and given the lunch time, just before the exit of the village under an arch we saw the entrance of this restaurant. The few outdoor tables were occupied and we sat inside. Very characteristic, well-kept and well-kept place, as well as being very large. We ate excellent first courses and a good platter of cold cuts. Prices in the average of the Ciociari villages. The staff very polite and courteous.

Il tutto contornato da oggetti tipici della tradizione ciociara. Piatti ottimi, personale gentilissimo e prezzi contenuti. Characteristic place a few steps from the church of San Francesco. Inside you can see the remains of the Cyclopean walls. All surrounded by typical objects of the Ciociara tradition. Excellent dishes, very kind staff and reasonable prices.

Elemento caratterizzante del ducale sono le strepitosa mura ciclopiche che si possono vedere alle pareti! Moltissimi gli archi e gli oggetti caratteristici della Ciociaria ! Tra i tanti c’è addirittura una gogna! I proprietari sono molto gentili e simpatici e disponibili come del resto anche il personale di sala. La cucina è tipica tradizionale di Alatri: i fini fini al pomodoro sono strepitosi come anche gli gnocchi e le scagnacce alle castagne e funghi porcini. L’antipasto di montagna è molto gustoso, come anche il piatto di arrosto misto. Per chi gustare la cucina ciociara tipica di Alatri è questo il ristorante ideale! Very characteristic place in the center of Alatri near the church of San Francesco and Porta San Francesco! Characteristic element of the ducal are the amazing cyclopean walls that can be seen on the walls! There are many arches and characteristic objects of Ciociaria! Among the many there is even a pillory! The owners are very kind and nice and helpful as are the dining room staff. The cuisine is traditionally typical of Alatri: the tomato-based dishes are amazing as well as the gnocchi and scagnacce with chestnuts and porcini mushrooms. The mountain appetizer is very tasty, as is the mixed roast dish. For those who enjoy the typical Ciociara cuisine of Alatri this is the ideal restaurant!

Staff very friendly, be aware the pizza options are not served at lunch, but still hightly recommend this spot, quite a medevil feel while cosy, beautiful old stone work and historical Italian crockery and utensils scattered about for decor. Bravo!
