★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found this gem looking for waterfront restaurants on the lake. Hidden at the back of a residential neighborhood next to a campground, it offers great views of the water, great food, and a friendly and easy going staff. The menu is varied and excellent, with not only great pizzas but pasta, fish (from the lake), veal, and other local dishes. Wine is inexpensive and good and the desserts are spectacular. Does not seem to be known by tourists, the other guests were all locals and having some Italian helps since there is no English on the menu nor among the staff. Opens promptly at 7pm and showing up then is a good way to get a table, or call ahead with a reservation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing. We come to this pizzeria for eating … pizza and they do not serve pizza at lunch, only higher price plates. Staff is okay but hardly speak English. Too bad as the terrasse was good looking.

The food is always excellent wether pasta or pizza, the staff and the owner super friendly and the place nicer by the year. The place has celebrated its tenth anniversary the year and we wish it a very long and successful life. Truly la Bella vita, excellent pizzas in the evening, delicious pasta at lunch and diner. Super nice staff and more than reasonable prices. All this on the lake Trasimeno shore! We have been there 6 or 7 times and it was always as described but... do not forget to book in advance ! And there is a playground for the kids to relax.
