Der auf einem Hügel gelegene Ort ist trotz seiner Nähe zur Küste eine komplett andere Welt und damit auch kulinarisch eine willkommene Abwechslung zu Fischen und Meeresfrüchten. Man sollte unbedingt die hervorragenden Maccheroncini Campofilone probieren, weiters konnten wir uns auch von der sehr guten Qualität von Vorspeisenplatte, Pizza und Tagliata die Manzo überzeugen. Reservierung empfohlen. Excellent restaurant in a perfect medieval setting on the small village square in Campofilone, which exudes a unique atmosphere in the evening. Intanto non c'è un menù scritto dove valutare cosa decidere di mangiare e anche il costo. Partiamo dal antipasto affettati e formaggi su di un tagliere con qualche foglia una fetta di prosciutto, una di lonza addirittura una minuscola fetta di salame a persona, con olive ascolane niente male. Il pane baguette del giorno avanti bruschettate .Niente di preparato una verdura saltata una pizzetta fritta niente di niente. Abbiamo preso due primi immangiabili.Tagliolini noce speck supersalati l'altro primo insipido. I secondi? Due alternative una la tagliate l'altro arrosticini abruzzese che no ha niente a che vedere con le Marche . Abbiamo pagato 50€ per un antipasto due primi e una Patatina e mezzo litro di vino con un coperto di carta. A casa di due universitari che accorciano una cena si sarebbe mangiato meglio. Piatti abbondanti e davvero ottimi, consiglio di provare la pasta alla nocina e gli arrosticini anche se abbiamo mangiato anche delle ottime pizze, olive all ascolana e tagliata al lardo. Il titolare è un ragazzo d'oro, davvero gentile e disponibile come tutto il suo staff.. Ci mancheranno questi sapori, speriamo di poterci rivedere, intanto grazie mille per i sapori e la compagnia che ci avete regalato! A must try! The owner is a golden boy, really kind and helpful like all his staff ..
