★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not just a pizzeria, actually a very good fish restaurant. Service is top tier, very attentive. Staff was knowledgeable and spoke about 5 different languages. The nero di seppia was the best I have tried in 5 or so locations. Location is seaside, so the views are good. It's off the busy road, so no loud cars or honking.
The raw fish antipasto was fantastic. Prices are about what expected.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ best lunch & meal since arriving in sicily six months ago at andrew’s faro - capricci di mare ristorante - located on the water just below the lungomare di ognina of catania in a hidden little cove with a black sand beach and lava rocks. ate at table with entire side window open to the ionian sea with crashing waves; ate caserecci verde mare - thick bucatini style pasta cut in quarters in a thick hearty sauce of fish & veg with fresh spada (swordfish), mussles, clams, zucchini, tomatoes, and parsley, served with good mini sesame bread rolls, sparkling water, and then they surprised me with complementary lemon sorbetto, followed by un cafe (espresso), and finally a unique beveled glass of vino di mandorla desert wine - all amazing in the ambiance by the sea

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff didn't let us sit inside the nice part of the restaurant, saying that the tables were reserved. We were there 20:30-23:30 and no one else came to take any of the free tables available. Where we were staff kept going past from the kitchen and it was colder. Food was good though

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think this is the best restaurant in Catania. The food was amazing, the view from the terrace is perfect...but the real treasure of this restaurant is the crew. Thanks to Giuseppe we had a wonderful experience with great wines and amazing fish with pasta. Thank you and hopefully see you soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I started my Saturday morning walk, and after a few miles ending up at the beach area, I stopped in at Andrew's for a cappuccino and water. A very welcoming environment; I was even able to get a salmon rocket salad, even though the kitchen wasn't open. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the energy breakfast. "Top notch"!! Can't wait to come back and try the pizza!
