★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy accessible location and nice interior, good service. There are also tables on the terrace. Food was not bad. Gnocchi with salmon and strudel with honey from a la carte were quite good , while main course from "tourist menu" was disappointing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pizza was better than any pizza we had in Naples hands down!! My carbonara was fantastic and wife's cappelletti Della Nona was perfect. The basement setting was rustic and charming. The wait staff was great considering it was packed. Travel to Italy twice a year and this one is a jewel!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I saw how arriving diners, one after the other, would greet those already in the restaurant, I knew I had struck gold - a place where local people go and the food is superb.
Parking is easy, as the restaurant is over the road from the "Teatro Romano" car park.
I went for the fixed tourist menu for €20. I presumed there would be a service charge on top, but no, it really was €20. I also presumed that this "cheapy option" would come with small portions, but no, there was so much excellent food I had to tell the waiter not to bring the last dishes as I was full! The €20 includes
- huge dish of various local appetisers
- two small starters, one risotto with a truffle sauce, one tagliatelle or similar with a meat sauce
- a pork fillet, with a mixed salad side
- half a litre of mineral water
- a quarter of a litre of wine.
As well as the excellent local food, this is also a pizzeria.
