All courses of excellent quality, highly qualified staff, courteous and available to satisfy any request. We have been with friends who have frequented the venue for over twenty years. (poco a mio parere per antipasto, 2 primi, un secondo, contorno, dolce, caffè e 4 tipi di vino) La recensione si basa su tale esperienza ma vorrei provare a tornare e mangiare alla carta. Manca la quinta stella perchè il menù era semplicissimo e i piatti senza presentazione, serviti in maniera ordinaria. Comunque il giudizio è molto positivo in quanto il servizio è stato ottimo, la sala spaziosa, tavoli rotondi molto graditi, personale gentile e premuroso. La titolare controlla il servizio personalmente e sta attenta ad ogni dettaglio per seguire a meglio gli ospiti...cosa che molti danno per scontato, ma non è sempre così. Lo consiglierei sicuramente per cene aziendali o di associazioni. Premise: I was at the Piroga last night for an organized dinner with a fixed menu of 35 euros. (little in my opinion for an appetizer, 2 first courses, a second course, side dish, dessert, coffee and 4 types of wine) The review is based on that experience but I would try to go back and eat a la carte. The fifth star is missing because the menu was very simple and the dishes without presentation, served in the ordinary way. However, the judgment is very positive as the service was excellent, the spacious room, very welcome round tables, kind and attentive staff. The owner checks the service personally and pays attention to every detail to better follow the guests ... something that many take for granted, but this is not always the case. I would definitely recommend it for corporate or association dinners.

Purtroppo la cucina, la qualità e l'esperienza generale però non può considerarsi più che discreta. Il buffet lo trovo probabilmente economico, ma decisamente anni '90 con molte pietanze anch'esse anni '90 con qualità media (e bassa a volte). È un modello che toglierei. Il risotto gamberetti, ananas e curry era mediocre, e i gamberetti onestamente non aggiungevano nulla al piatto. Poco educato togliere il piatto a chi a finito e lasciarlo a chi sta finendo. Meglio sparecchiare insieme. Secondo buono (tagliata di pollo), il piatto migliore del pasto benché sarebbe più carino poter scegliere il contorno. Dolci provati sotto la media. Il "tortino di pasta frolla" è sinceramente imbarazzante e lo toglierei proprio come dessert. Strudel come in autogrill. Citare il "gelato alla vaniglia" come un dessert fuori menù, è un po' come dire che volendo ci sono anche le caramelle Rossana. Ambiente rilassante, parcheggio non grandissimo. Il personale di sala è abbastanza preparato e sicuramente molto cortese, le potenzialità ci sono, consiglierei forse uno chef con più motivazione e passione. Once you arrive the staff is very kind and helpful, and you can clearly see that they are committed. Unfortunately the kitchen, the quality and the general experience cannot be considered more than discreet. I find the buffet probably cheap, but definitely '90s with many dishes also in the 90s with medium quality (and sometimes low). It is a model that I would take away. The shrimp, pineapple and curry risotto was mediocre, and the shrimp honestly didn't add anything to the dish. Not very polite to remove the dish from those who are finished and leave it to those who are finishing. Better to clear together. Second good (sliced chicken), the best dish of the meal although it would be nicer to choose the side dish. Desserts tried below average. The "short pastry pie" is genuinely embarrassing and I would take it off as a dessert. Strudel as in autogrill. To mention the "vanilla ice cream" as an off-menu dessert, is a bit like saying that if you want there are also Rossana candies. Relaxing environment, not too big parking. The dining room staff is quite prepared and certainly very courteous, the potential is there, I would perhaps recommend a chef with more motivation and passion.
M	Margherita Ferrari on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Padova è famoso da anni ma io non c'ero mai stata. Presenta un valoso buffet di antipasti tra freddi e caldi che bastano per abbuffarsi. Quindi un bel primo ( nel mio caso risotto- non eccezionale per la verità) e poi frutta e dolce. Direi una buona cena. Noi eravamo in tanti ( sembrava un matrimonio) non so se come ristorante normale possa fare la differenza. Comunque per grandi cene consiglio. In Padua it has been famous for years but I had never been there. It presents a rich buffet of appetizers between cold and hot that are enough to binge. So a nice first (in my case risotto - not exceptional for the truth) and then fruit and dessert. I would say a good dinner. We were many (it seemed like a wedding) I don't know if it could make a difference as a normal restaurant. However for great dinners advice.

Cucina raffinata e di qualità. Da provare! Excellent historic restaurant in Padua. Equipped with large spaces that lend themselves to various ceremonies and events, weddings, baptisms and anniversaries. Refined and quality cuisine. To try!

Very small menu (3 types of each course), oil dripping from both fish and meat, second course served only almost lightly warm, and portions lacking ingredients that were mentioned in menu. On top of that, tried to charge us with drinks we ordered, but didn’t receive. Sorted that one out, but left the restaurant with bad memories and a promise to never return.
