In questo caratteristico ed elegante locale potete trovare specialità locali ma anche valdostane dato la provenienza dei gestori. Noi abbiamo optato per il territorio: anolini in brodo da leggenda, ottimi tortelli, un sontuoso tagliere di affettati con gnocco fritto da manuale, tomahawk di maiale tenero come il burro, il tutto servito con cortesia e simpatia del territorio.
In this characteristic and elegant restaurant you can find local but also Aosta Valley specialties given the origin of the managers. We opted for the territory: anolini in legendary broth, excellent tortelli, a sumptuous platter of cold cuts with manual fried dumplings, pork tomahawk as tender as butter, all served with courtesy and friendliness of the territory.

Location fantastica nel retro del castello, tutto in sasso e con volta d'ingresso a questo salone con due colonne a sostegno degli archi con travi a vista, tutto in pietra, un antico camino, non in uso ma suggestivo e qua e là un pezzo di arte lignea valdostana che ben s'inserisce nel contesto. Come si mangia? Da dio! I due gestori, carinissimi e molti attenti, vengono dalla Val d'Aosta di cui propongo alcuni piatti nel menù gourmet, buonissimi la fonduta e il camoscio per quanto ci riguarda, ma molto allettanti anche i piatti che abbiamo visto arrivare agli altri commensali. Super! Ci torneremo! Buonissimi anche i loro dolci tutto rigorosamente fatto da loro, mentre il vino dal nome e etichetta simpaticissimi viene da un vigneto vicino buono buono.
Fantastic location in the back of the castle, all in stone and with an entrance vault to this hall with two columns supporting the arches with exposed beams, all in stone, an ancient fireplace, not in use but suggestive and here and there a piece of Valdostan wooden art that fits well into the context. How do you eat? From god! The two managers, very nice and very attentive, come from Val d'Aosta of which I propose some dishes in the gourmet menu, very good the fondue and chamois as far as we are concerned, but also very tempting the dishes that we have seen arriving to the other diners. Super! We will be back! Their desserts are also very good, all rigorously made by them, while the wine with a very nice name and label comes from a nearby good good vineyard.

A dir poco: esclusivo incantevole rilassante unica bellissima sala ristorante 35 posti. In sasso. Ottima, sublime, esclusiva, ricercata, incantevole, particolare, la cucina. Ottimo menù, anche con alcuni piatti cotti in regime di "bassa temperatura" . Ciò mi ricorda la "cucina Molecolare" assaggiata in G.Hotel 5 stelle L. proposta da cheff stellati. Ottimo.. bravi. Complimenti..
To say the least: exclusive charming relaxing unique beautiful restaurant 35 seats. In stone. Excellent, sublime, exclusive, refined, enchanting, particular, the cuisine. Excellent menu, even with some dishes cooked in a "low temperature" regime. This reminds me of the "Molecular cuisine" tasted in G.Hotel 5 stars L. proposed by starred cheff. Great .. good. Well done..

Scipione is an impossibly cute castle on a hill, many of which are dotted throughout Emilia Romagna. The restaurant is around the back of the castle. There is a terrace with views all the way to Piacenza, which catches the breeze even on a hot summer day. All the food is home made, order everything the owner recommends. Menu includes onion and Parmesan tart, snails and sausage, rabbit terrine. Nearby there is a nature reserve where rare bee eaters nest.

Went here following the google rating. Beware that portion size would be very traditional italian and small. You'll have to order in full appetizers to primi to secondi. We only got secondi each and it was very small. Dishes were rather mediocre. The local red we got recommendation from the owner, Zerioli was honestly really bad, vinegar-ish. Really enjoyed panna cotta though.
