The other night we had dinner here and I can say I had a positive meal. With Franco Longarini very busy and attentive I would say overall it was a positive evening.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo partecipato ad una cena in questo ristorante che si trova in un luogo impossibile ad arrivare, sperduto nella campagna di Terracina. Il cibo ottimo, ma il servizio dalla cucina lunghissimo, i prezzi alti. Siamo tornati per verifica ma il giudizio è stato lo stesso.
We attended a dinner in this restaurant that is in an impossible place to arrive, lost in the countryside of Terracina. The food is great, but the service from the kitchen is very long, the prices are high. We returned for verification but the judgment was the same.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un giudizio che a stento merita appena due stelle e soltanto grazie al luogo e alla cornice sicuramente invitanti e rilassanti. Il resto una sorpresa deludente rispetto alle troppe recensioni entusiastiche su TripAdvisor. Servizio caotico, pietanze sbagliate, lunghe attese, menù con offerta assai ridotta per di più accompagnata dalla ricorrente frase "Spiacenti, è terminato". Comunque nulla che può definirsi davvero particolare o da ricordare tra ciò che esce dalla cucina. Nonostante ciò prezzi abbastanza elevati soprattutto per antipasti e primi (valga per tutti l'accenno di polpo su vellutata di patate e zafferano). Rarefatta la scelta di distillati e digestivi a fine pasto. E dopo una serie di inefficienze e di disguidi il proprietario avrebbe almeno potuto scusarsi di persona anziché delegare all'imbarazzante compito la pur gentile e simpatica cameriera.
Peccato perché il posto è bello e ha molte potenzialità. Speriamo che si sia trattato semplicemente di una sfortunata eccezione e quindi di una serata negativa, non invece di una consuetudine. Andrebbe verificato.
A judgment that barely deserves just two stars and only thanks to the place and the frame certainly inviting and relaxing. The rest was a disappointing surprise compared to too many rave reviews on TripAdvisor. Chaotic service, wrong dishes, long waits, menu with very limited offer, moreover accompanied by the recurrent phrase "Sorry, it's over". However, nothing that can be defined as truly particular or to be remembered among what comes out of the kitchen. In spite of this the prices are quite high, especially for appetizers and first courses (the hint of octopus on potato and saffron cream soup applies to everyone). Rarefilled the choice of distillates and digestives after a meal. And after a series of inefficiencies and misunderstandings the owner could at least have apologized in person instead of delegating to the embarrassing task the kind and nice waitress.
Too bad because the place is beautiful and has a lot of potential. We hope it was simply an unfortunate exception and therefore a bad evening, not instead of a custom. It should be verified.
