Ristorante Neptunus

Un disastro. Facciamo passare le camere che sono dell anteguerra il bagno fatiscente con lo scarico della doccia rotto senza un piatto doccia non dico un box ma almeno un piatto in modo da non allagare tutto il bagno. Il mio letto era aggiunto in quella che era anticamera e cucinino sempre rotto e sporco ma aveva una grande finestra che il personale non si e' nemmeno degnato di preoccuparsi per la luce del mattino che avrebbe sicuramente dato fastidio al risveglio anzi alla mia richiesta di una tenda e c erano gli attacchi per metterla il personale si è limitato a dire che il sole non sorgeva in quel punto. Io sono stata costretta a svegliarmi sempre molto molto presto. Il mobilio della camera sarà anche gradevole e insolito ma l armadio aveva solo 2 ante usufruibili e i comò e i comodini erano molto scomodi. Facciamo passare tutto questo che con una robusta e importante ristrutturazione potrebbe essere uno dei fiori all occhiello di Forio ma ne siamo molto ma molto lontani.....Quello che purtroppo non si risolve con una ristrutturazione è la maleducazione dei proprietari e a volte anche del personale. La "gentile" accoglienza finisce quasi subito. A colazione mi sono sentita molto trascurata e se provavi a chiedere qualcosa di diverso tipo un semplice toast venivano fatte molte rimostranze anche se nella bruchure c è scritto colazione dolce e salata a scelta. La cena di ferragosto è stata la ciliegina sulla torta più di 1 ora e mezzo prima di essere serviti. Tra l antipasto e il primo sono passate quasi 2 ore non è stato possibile mangiare le linguine all astice perché non ce le hanno mai portate e neanche il secondo. Alle nostre rimostranze non hanno dato retta. Si ballava e c era molto assembramento. Noi eravamo stati posti verso la piscina e io sono stata costretta a sedermi sul bordo della stessa con il risultato che mi si è bagnato il vestito. Finalmente dopo 2 ore di ripetute chiamate è arrivata la proprietaria che ci ha accontentato con 2 dolci. Quando sono andata a pagare sempre la proprietaria con estremo menefreghismo mi ha fatto pagare gli antipasti e l unico primo portato e le bottiglie di vino esattamente 201 euro. Intanto altre persone venivano prontamente servite. Io non ho parole un cliente non si tratta cosi andassero a scuola di accoglienza che non farebbero assolutamente male. Purtroppo devo segnalare che il personale mentre serve non porta la mascherina non ci sono disinfettanti per le mani e durante le cene al ristorante c è molto assembramento. Tanto si doveva.

Soggiornare a Villa Neptunus per le nostre vacanze ischitane è stata la migliore scelta che potessimo fare! La villa si trova in un luogo incantevole, un po' nascosto (ma comunque facilmente accessibile), immerso nel verde e nella tranquillità. inoltre, il fatto di essere in un punto sopraelevato fa sì che ci sia una vista sul mare stupenda e dei tramonti mozzafiato! Tutto è molto curato, dalle stanze alle terrazze con tavoli e sedute maiolicate, piscine, fontane e piante a perdita d'occhio! Il personale è davvero accogliente e attento e in generale si respira un'atmosfera allegra e vacanziera! le sere in cui ci siamo fermati a mangiare non ci hanno affatto deluso, anzi, c'era un'ampia scelta e in particolare il pesce era freschissimo! infine, come ciliegina sulla torta c'erano le colazioni, sia per le torte (buonissime), sia, soprattutto, per la ragazza che si occupava della sala e degli ospiti con una gentilezza e una premura davvero uniche! Insomma, dopo tanti anni sull'isola siamo stati davvero felici di scoprire questa sistemazione e non vediamo già l'ora di tornarci!

The food and service was excellent. It's a really nice venue with a great view, and the atmosphere is fun. We didn't expect it to be so pricey but don't consider it bad value - next time we might ask to order from a menu or to verify prices of the fresh seafood (rock lobsters) but we don't think the prices were unreasonable for what we had.

The best place I've ever been, nice people, the best food and a great atmosphere. Thank you for all!

If you want to save your self from a real nightmare, please be far away from this place. My boyfriend and I had the most outrageous experience on this place. Begging with the difficult access , despite of the beautiful view, you must have a scooter or a car, or an electric bike, or money to pay taxis all the time, otherwise get ready to walk and sweat to climb hills to get there and to get to the closest bus stop. Finally arriving at the place, no one comes to welcome you (except a lovely girl who works at the bar who offered a fresh water and coffee). After waiting for at least half an hour, I asked the same lovely girl if there were someone who could come to welcome us, to explain how it works and what time our room would be ready. Just on the table a side, we see this woman who I suppose is the “manager” (if I can give this tittle for this person) wearing your sunglasses, smoking, dealing with the phone plus papers, managing a situation with other guests who were having some problems (can’t say exactly what was the problem). Finally, after 45 minutes waiting and without any welcome, this woman comes towards us with in a very snobbish attitude and with the electronic thermometer, comes to measure our temperature and than, with the same snobbish attitude, without taking the sunglasses off and without any warm hospitality says “your room will be ready in half an hour”..... period!!! Than, we handle our passports, she take a picture and done. After 30 minutes, we came back to the hotel to finally get settle and able to take a shower and start the holidays. That’s when the nightmare begins.... Someone else (not the “manager”) comes towards us to show our room (just to see, than after we could be able to get our luggages). Descending forward to what was suppose to be our room, we passed thru a lovely alley with beautiful rooms with garden and than I thought... “uau, this will be nice” but unfortunately it wasn’t for us, we kept descending the stairs and we arrive on what was suppose to be our room. From the expectations vs. reality (which we prepaid for it by Airbnb) was a completely disappointment. The room was dark, no TV, no air conditioning, two beds (one for a couple and one for single), no view.... just an “extra room” which I doubt that normally is suppose to be rent it by the rate of 100,00 euros per night. As we didn’t agreed with the room we came back to discuss with this “lovely” “manager”. That’s the moment we found out that our reservation has been canceled which means if we said yes for this awful room the place would gain 600,00 euros extra because I’m sure that this room is not worth it for anyone to rent specially in a rate of 100,00 per night. Of course, after so much time spent waiting, plus the heat, plus the no welcoming and plus the disappointment of room, we lost our control and start the arguments (which at this point was not worth it). So, we left the place by walking, with the luggage, with the heat and also been called “Pazzo” due the fact the we lost our control. This could all be avoided , specially our lost of control which we do apologize, if we were well welcome, if we were noticed that the reservation was canceled before the “check-in in 30 minutes” before seeing this awful room. So, I hope that anyone who reads this review don’t have the same terrible experience on this place if you choose to stay there. I hope that this “manager” can read this and learn how to treat and welcome people on their “hotel”.
