I had dinner at this restaurant a few days ago and never wanted to. With a € 12 menu we were offered an entrée of chips, croquettes and panzerottini, with a drink and pizza of your choice; and up to here it can also be. The good thing (so to speak) came when the (and I emphasize "the") dish was served with a (by number) croquette, a (by number) panzerottino and a handful of fries. The poor quantity was certainly not paid for by the quality, as they were clearly defrosted, heated and served industrial products. In all honesty, I would have been ashamed to present such a sad dish to even the most hated of mothers-in-law. Taken by this disappointment I tried to motivate the € 12 of the menu in what I imagined the tastiest pizza ever, given the havoc of the "appetizer" worth € 1 (if not less) at the discount, in short, stuff from EuroSpin or Lidl , seeing is believing. I hoped to be able to choose from all the pizzas on the menu, but unfortunately it was not possible (never both were there to lose). The pizza I received wasn't exactly bad, but it certainly didn't justify the money spent: the topping was more than just right, but the dough was totally rejected: low pizza, crunchy and sometimes burnt. They may be tastes, but pizza, in my country, must not make "crack". Gluten-free pizza is on the verge of decency: I know the limits of a gluten-free dough and I know that it can never be equated with a traditional pizza, but at least don't serve us a grisly sized pizza, certainly more suited to a deep dish than to a pizza plate. To close the circle, there is a worldly service, very easy going, not that it is a problem, but let's say that it is not suitable for a place called Marco Aurelio. Ultimately, in the center of Taranto there are several pizzerias and the competition is certainly not lacking. For a pizza, with patita and a drink, you spend about the same amount, but I think there are places that are qualitatively light years away.

Very nice restaurant/recommended. I visited and had dinner with 3 friends during a recent business trip to Taranto. We had Gigi pizza Capriciosa - Pasta Taranto beef steak and salads. All were very tasty. Enjoy !!

One of my favourite restaurants in Taranto, lovely food and the most friendly staff. Choose anything on the menu and it's great, the mixed house starter is wonderful. If you eat here you will be surrounded by locals in a great atmosphere and you will eat well.
