Abbiamo assaggiato anche le cozze gratinate, le seppie e il polipo, sia alla Luciana che al sugo. Eccezionali. Come andare a mangiare dalla nonna tarantina. Ci siamo tornati due volte in due settimane, assaggiando anche lasagne, salsiccia e patate. La scelta è vasta e i sapori non deludono mai. Propongono anche la pizza, hanno sia posti all'interno che all'esterno. È difficile definirlo: potrebbe essere ristorante pizzeria rosticceria, unico nel suo genere. Oltre al buon cibo e alla gentilezza, in questo locale si trova un pezzetto di storia contemporanea, o meglio, una speranza per il futuro della città. I proprietari sono giovani ex operai dell'acciaieria, che vogliono dimostrare che in questa città si può avere un'opportunità anche al dì là dell'ex Ilva. Invito perciò tutti i turisti a farci un salto almeno una volta. Per conoscere la città e la sua storia attraverso sapori e racconti di una Taranto che vuole tornare ad essere una delle città più vivibili di Italia. Looking for a dish, rice, potatoes and mussels, we found this beautiful cuisine of typical dishes from Taranto. We also tasted mussels au gratin, cuttlefish and octopus, both Luciana and with sauce. Exceptional. Like going to eat at the grandmother of Taranto. We went back twice in two weeks, also tasting lasagna, sausage and potatoes. The choice is vast and the flavors never disappoint. They also offer pizza, they have both indoor and outdoor seats. It is difficult to define it: it could be a one-of-a-kind rotisserie pizzeria restaurant. In addition to good food and kindness, in this place there is a piece of contemporary history, or rather, a hope for the future of the city. The owners are young former steel workers, who want to show that in this city you can have an opportunity even beyond the former Ilva. I therefore invite all tourists to drop by at least once. To get to know the city and its history through flavors and stories of a Taranto that wants to go back to being one of the most livable cities in Italy.

Abbiamo gradito molto le orecchiette con le rape, le cozze al gratin e il piatto vegano gustosissimo:orecchiette con purea di fave cipolla stufata e pane fritto. Porzioni abbondanti, gentilezza,pulizia e cordialità dello staff. Varietà di primi, contorni e secondi. Vasta scelta di vino e birre. All very good, congratulations! We loved the orecchiette with turnips, mussels au gratin and the very tasty vegan dish: orecchiette with mashed beans, stewed onion and fried bread. Generous portions, kindness, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. Variety of first courses, side dishes and second courses. Wide choice of wine and beers.

Pedimos varias cosas sobre las 21:20 eran las 22:00 y aún no teníamos nada, cuando nos llaman con nuestro número solamente nos dan una de las cosas que habíamos pedido y nos dicen que en un rato nos llaman para lo demás. Sigue pasando el tiempo y nada, entramos para ver qué pasa, nos piden perdón y nos dicen que no hay arancini que si queríamos otra cosa o el dinero, pedimos otra cosa. Comemos todo pero nos sigue faltando un plato, cuando nos levantamos a reclamar, ni lo habían preparado ni tenían intención, por lo que pedimos el dinero y nos fuimos. Únicamente comimos 2 cosas de las que habíamos pedido nosotros en un principio. Un servicio pésimo, muy lento y caótico. Y la comida pues mala no estaba, pero por esos precios en España te pones morado a calamares a la romana. DISASTER! We only ate 2 things that we had originally ordered. Terrible service, very slow and chaotic. And the food was not bad, but for those prices in Spain you turn purple squid a la romana.

Vassoi di plastica base e coperto monouso non mi fanno impazzire ma mangiar pesce di buona qualità a prezzi bassi e senza pretese non mi dispiace. Ci tornerei.

Finito, in appositi raccoglitori della raccolta differenziata posti all'esterno del locale. Pratico, comodo, senza fronzoli: proprio come a casa propria. Personale gentilissimo. Consigliatissimo. Polipo alla Luciana, fave e cicoria, paccheri zucchine gamberetti e granella di pistacchio, frittura di mare, calamari ripieni, polpette al ragù e tanto altro. Consigliatissimo.
