★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owners of the B&B, Lelive, in Sermoneta suggested we eat here on our first night in Italy. Very, very reasonably priced for exceptional food. Try the antipasto for $10. Pair it with a bottle of the Ca Rugate Amarone, 2011. Our next course was fettuccine noodles with truffles. Adding the truffles was the best extra $15 I’ve ever spent.
In the USA, you can order the same dishes, but they pale in comparison to the real thing. Amazing meal. Plus great service. Plus great atmosphere indoors or outside, overlooking the valley and the mountains. Go.
