Il nostro pranzo si è svolto in terrazza fortunatamente ventilata dalla brezza marina. Abbiamo gustato piatti sapientemente preparati dalla chef ( sig.ra Teresa) molto gradevoli agli occhi come al palato, accompagnati da vino Chardonnay dell'azienda Mulino7cento. Tutto ottimo. Consigliato ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I like playing at home especially when it comes to clubs like this. The restaurant is located inside the Miramare hotel. Our lunch took place on the terrace, fortunately ventilated by the sea breeze. We tasted dishes expertly prepared by the chef (Mrs. Teresa) very pleasing to the eyes as well as to the palate, accompanied by Chardonnay wine from the Mulino7cento company. All excellent. Recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A parte la magia della sala/acquario, già dal primo incontro con il proprietario, persona gentile e precisa che ha pensato davvero a tutto (dai centrotavola, alle eventuali proposte vegan, alle decorazioni della torta), l'impressione era ottima, impressione che si è poi confermata durante tutto l'evento, gestito con professionalità da tutto il personale di sala, sempre alla mano e sorridente. Piatti spettacolari, buonissimi ed altrettanto ben presentati. I prezzi sono assolutamente coerenti con la proposta che, nella mia esperienza, è stata complessivamente di alto livello. Non capisco perchè così poche recensioni, è un locale che offre tanto ed è un posto dove non vedo l'ora di tornare! My sincere congratulations. I celebrated my graduation at the La Vela restaurant. Apart from the magic of the room / aquarium, from the first meeting with the owner, a kind and precise person who really thought of everything (from the centerpieces, to any vegan proposals, to the cake decorations), the impression was excellent, impression that it was then confirmed throughout the event, professionally managed by all the dining room staff, always friendly and smiling. Spectacular dishes, delicious and equally well presented. The prices are absolutely consistent with the proposal which, in my experience, was overall of a high standard. I don't understand why so few reviews, it's a place that offers so much and it's a place where I can't wait to go back!

Si confonde con il bar della struttura. Ci sono due entrate, una delle quali sembra ti faccia entrare dal retro. Meglio tenerne una sola ben in vista e ben curata. Il menù è troppo scarno: 4 antipasti, 4 primi e 4 secondi. Altri tavoli accanto al nostro hanno mangiato pietanze non riportate nel menù. Forse c'è un menù appositamente preparato per gli ospiti dell'hotel? Perché non proporre alcuni di quei piatti come fuori menù per i clienti del ristorante? I piatti erano comunque molto buoni: ottima materia prima e soprattutto ottima realizzazione. Il "problema" è che il nome del ristorante è: La vela food experience. Io questa esperienza non l'ho trovata. Mi sarei aspettato un percorso, una degustazione, un tour, qualcosa. Non così poca scelta anche se ribadisco di ottima fattura. Ma dov'è l'esperienza? La carta dei vini è in linea con la "filosofia" del ristorante. Non è fornitissima (le bollicine ad esempio andrebbero aumentate) ma ci sono ottime etichette. I dolci sono buoni, ma purtroppo pochi (solo 3). I prezzi sono alti, anche se comunque in linea con altri posti nei dintorni. Il problema principale è proprio questo secondo me: il ristorante si trova all'interno di un triangolo di altri 3 ristoranti che si fanno notare molto di più e di conseguenza questo posto non decolla ... c'è da capire se non sia proprio la volontà della proprietà a questo punto. It's a restaurant that could and should do a lot more! Let's start with the location: it is located inside the Miramare hotel and is barely noticeable. It is confused with the hotel bar. There are two entrances, one of which appears to take you in from the back. Better to keep only one in sight and well cared for. The menu is too sparse: 4 starters, 4 first and 4 second courses. Other tables next to ours ate dishes not listed on the menu. Perhaps there is a menu specially prepared for hotel guests? Why not propose some of those dishes as off-menu for restaurant customers? The dishes were still very good: excellent raw material and above all excellent realization. The "problem" is that the name of the restaurant is: La vela food experience. I have not found this experience. I would have expected a path, a tasting, a tour, something. Not so little choice even if I repeat of excellent workmanship. But where is the experience? The wine list is in line with the "philosophy" of the restaurant. It is not well stocked (the bubbles for example should be increased) but there are excellent labels. Desserts are good, but unfortunately few (only 3). Prices are high, although still in line with other places around. The main problem is this in my opinion: the restaurant is located within a triangle of 3 other restaurants that stand out much more and consequently this place does not take off ... it is to be understood if it is not really the will of the property at this point.

I dolci danno sempre la possibilità di sentire tutti gli ingredienti senza essere mai stucchevoli. Wow! In ordine di gusto, direi che seguono i secondi, con accostamenti non banali e davvero piacevoli per il palato e si chiude con i primi, che non mi hanno soddisfatto come dolci e secondi, ma comunque ottimi. Prezzi medio-alti. Although I am not a fan of sweets, I must say that the pastry of these restaurants is sensational. Desserts always give the opportunity to taste all the ingredients without ever being cloying. Wow! In order of taste, I would say that the second courses follow, with non-trivial and really pleasant combinations for the palate and ends with the first, which did not satisfy me as desserts and second courses, but still excellent. Medium-high prices.
