Gave 3 pasta dishes a try between 5 people and they all seemed to come out of a box despite the "homemade" description (gnocchi, carbonara, ravioli). We then tried two main dishes and they were both way over cooked. Highly DO NOT recommend this place. Gave it two stars because it was edible and I was hungry.

The traditional dishes are represented in a wonderful way. Don't forget to reserve. It is a small place in the celler of the castle. Eat out in summer. Great price. Highly recommended.

Possibly the only place in Italy to serve overcooked cannelloni. Bruschetta like cardboard and 8€ for a few slices of roasted courgette and aubergine. No sign of courgette flowers and porcine mushrooms mentioned in the menu. The cherry on top of the cake - they try to charge you for a second bottle of water they place on the table, and when you ask them to remove it from the bill if you haven't opened it they'll try to scam you for 50cents lol. Pathetic. Edit: when you haven't eaten since 7am and are pressed for time being part of a tour group you don't have much choice but to eat what's in front of you. funny how you never addressed the issues raised. thanks for your concern, I've had plenty of delicious traditional italian food, just not at your establishment.

I would listen to the other negative reviews about overcooked and/or average food (I had overcooked shrimps, ny boyfriend had a nice risotto and average suppli). My boyfriend ordered a can of coca cola and the rim was dirty and sticky so it makes you wonder how clean their kitchen is.

The bread was stale as old cardboard, bruschetta tasted of nothing, overcooked cannelloni, and €8 for a few oily slices of courgette, peppers and eggplant when a grilled vegetable plate on the menu was supposed to include porchini mushrooms and courgette flowers. HARD PASS

I recommend the Mozarelli (Fried Mozarella balls) as an appetiser, and the Cannelone as your highlight. For the rest, ask the staff ??they know what they're doing. You will never want to leave Tivoli again. ❤️‍?
