★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have waiters that speak English who took care of my food allergies. There were no tourists apart from myself in the restaurant which you know is a good sign. The food was lovely as well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A quite place tucked away from the main tourist trail. Wine choice was great.. we had a 2012 Montepulciano and it was excellent. The mussels and beef and salmon that came were very tasty.. better than some of the trip advisor top 100 recommendations that we tried in Rome. Worth the calories..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got delicious food served by the English speaking staff that helped us pick the right food and recommended me nice vegetarian options. It was no problem to ask for a small change in the menu. The atmosphere was perfect being surrounded by only locals in the small town of Tivoli. A huge recommendation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the first time I was disappointed in 18 month of living in Italy. I gave 2 stars for the smile and the good attitude, but the food is far bellow Italian standard.
We took meat (tagliata di manzo) and it was a shame: overcooked, chewy and tasteless. I think it would be a good idea to take it out of the menu.
Bread was dry.
Tiramisu is by far the worst I ever had in Italy and it is ridiculously small.
The cherry mousse was another shame: tasteless butter with a cherry on the top.
Wine was good. I saw a lot of people having pasta and it looked good.
Usual Italian generosity was absolutely not present in the plate. A really pity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do yourself a favour. Sit down and ask for the specials. Let them take you through the best gastronic experience you'll have today. Great food. Great prices. Weird location. Weird town. Really unexpected. We loved everything. House wine worked great!
