We accidentally got to Torre Canne when I saw a lighthouse in the distance as we drove to Alberobello from Lecce, and we decided to make a detour on our way back. It was the absolutely best meal I had the entire two weeks. The redfish pasta, the marinated anchovies, the tomato "salad," basically just cut up tomatoes that were unbelievably fresh. The waiter spoke English (which was nice), the bathroom was wonderful (which was unique in our experience!), the view was killer. That meal may go down in my personal history as one of my top 20 meals of all time. And I have had some really good meals! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classic Italian seaside restaurant. Fish cooked expertly. Was a blustery chilly day we visited, but the classic career waiters, fresh sea urchins, and decent affordable wine more than made up for that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent location literally by the sea. Reserve if you want to table next to the sea. Good selection on the menu. Big variety of fresh fish. Mussels are one of the best we had around. They speak both English and German. Offers food for kids - eg Schnitzel with fries. Pizza is also very good. Prices are reasonable. We go back each time we are in Torre Canne.

We had a lovely meal. The fish is fresh from the adriatic sea that you look out onto as you eat.
Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the summer I love their lido and restaurant. This place has the advantage of year round dining. The pasta with ricci was fabulous today, the service friendly and good value all round.
