A noi è piaciuto parecchio. Conto giustissimo e prezzi assolutamente nella media. Ci torneremmo?
Ate at La Panarda for lunch with my girlfriend between the visit to Subiaco and Monte Livata. We arrived at 12.15pm, booking at 1pm. However, they did accommodate us, specifying that the kitchen was still opening. They made us sit upstairs, on a kind of very nice mezzanine from which you can admire the rustic but elegant decor of the place. The friendliness of the waiters struck us immediately, an aspect that we could also appreciate in the choice of dishes (I asked for the possibility of gluten and lactose-free options, and I was guided). We ordered a porchetta calzone, potatoes and mozzarella. Honestly, it did not drive us crazy, we felt very little of the ingredients but at least it was not heavy on the palate or digestion. Two first courses: the much-praised strozzapreti with pistachio pesto, and gnocchi with bison ragù. The fresh homemade pasta was great, a little less the toppings. In the strozzapreti you could hardly hear the pistachio and even less the sausage. Certainly too delicate as a taste considering the very strong ingredients. Good gnocchi, fairly anonymous ragù. Dessert: pasticciotto. My girlfriend had never tried it, I had happened to take it several times in Puglia. Honestly, it impressed us a lot. Perhaps also because it was served hot. Too bad, in fact, for the central part, which remained a bit cold. Really well done, big, soft and tasty cream, crunchy dough on the outside. Highly recommended, even if it doesn't seem to be the main dish of the house judging by the other reviews and customer choices. We liked it a lot. A very fair account and absolutely average prices. Would we go back? Probably not, also because we always like to try different places, and also because the offer was not so vast as to leave us with the doubt in having chosen the less appetizing dishes. But we definitely recommend it, especially for couples, as it's not such a big place. Last but not least, very fast service.

After five years in Italy I had the best steak imaginable here (and the pasta was excellent). The staff were friendly, the portions generous, the price reasonable, the atmosphere lovely with great views. The direction to the restaurant was well signposted and was a lovely walk (they have plenty of parking as well). The interior is clean and very nicely decorated. The staff told us the place is owned by a butcher and the meat was on display (I salivated as I saw my steak selected and cooked - my girlfriend said my eyes watered!) The chef was a lovely lady who knew her stuff. The steak was perfect. I can only sing praises for this place. I went to Subiaco for a day trip and my girlfriend selected this place at the last minute. I was hesitant, but the moment I saw the meat! There was a good vegetarian range as well. If I am ever within a short drive of the area I will definitely visit again.
