Il proprietario molto disponibile, arrivavo distrutto in bicicletta e gentilmente me l'ha fatta portare dentro per tenerla sotto controllo. Nel frattempo mi ha tenuto compagnia raccontandomi la storia del ristorante e della zona, molto interessante! Assolutamente consigliato!
Fairytale dishes, typical Piacenza cuisine. Fair prices. The owner very helpful, I arrived destroyed on my bicycle and kindly made me bring it inside to keep it under control. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Varcando l'ingresso si ha l'impressione di avere viaggiato con una macchina del tempo wellsiana: tutto riporta ad atmosfere anni Sessanta/Settanta, compresi oggetti quali le posate e i menu (qualcuno della mia età forse li ricorda, alti e stretti, elegantemente rilegati e sfogliabili, scritti a macchina) e persino gli avventori, perlomeno nell'ultima sera in cui sono passato.
Gli anolini in brodo, apparentemente un cibo semplice, sono perfetti. Buona anche la fesa arrosto, anch'essa frutto di una preparazione raffinata sottesa ad un'apparente semplicità. Ottimo il vino al calice.
Proprietario molto gentile, ricordo il suo aiuto (all'ora serale di chiusura!) in occasione di un improvvido guasto alla macchina; ero tra l'altro un perfetto sconosciuto.
Un presidio della tradizione, preziosa quanto l'innovazione.
Crossing the entrance, one has the impression of having traveled in a Wellsian time machine: everything brings back to the Sixties / Seventies atmospheres, including objects such as cutlery and menus (someone my age perhaps remembers them, tall and narrow, elegantly bound and browsable, typed) and even the patrons, at least on the last night I passed.
Anolini in broth, apparently a simple food, are perfect. The roast rump is also good, also the result of a refined preparation underlying an apparent simplicity. The wine by the glass is excellent.
Very kind owner, I remember his help (at closing time in the evening!) On the occasion of an unexpected breakdown of the car; I was by the way a complete stranger.
A defense of tradition, as precious as innovation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ristorante non.moderno, ma offfre piatti di ottima qualità. Molto buono l'antipasto di salumi misti del posto e ottimi primi, i ravioli di ricotta fatti in casa squisiti. Buono il vino della casa consigliato dal gestore molto gentile. Diamo.capitati per caso dopo una visita a Castell' Arquato dove i ristoranti erano tutti al completo... ottima scoperta.
The restaurant is not modern, but offers excellent quality dishes. Very good the appetizer of mixed local cold cuts and excellent first courses, the exquisite homemade ricotta ravioli. Good house wine recommended by the very kind manager. Diamo.capitati by chance after a visit to Castell 'Arquato where the restaurants were all fully booked ... great find.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location e anni 80 abbastanza datato ma se piace ai gestori va bene così, personale simpatico e cortese, vecchio stile come tutto il contesto. Il pranzo buono, mi ha proposto un vitello tonnato di qualità con delle verdure cotte (nulla di eccezionale), anche se la specialità sono i primi di pasta ripiena ( se vi capita provateli). Gli ho dato un massimale di spesa di 18 € senza decidere cosa mangiare ed é quello che ho speso, ma l'impressione è che se gli avessi dato un massimale di 25€ mi avrebbe dato le stesse cose. Avrebbe fatto più bella figura facendomi pagare qualcosa meno visto il proposto. Da segnalare un bel parcheggio a 20mt. Comunque se non avete limiti di spesa è da provare.
