★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lost pearl! I was given this recommendation after asking for a truly homemade food experience in Maratea: it did confort me to perfection. Antonio is a great host and a character, but take his recommendation: it didn't fail once. The smoked meats and cheeses are excellent and so well paired with his house wine. Pastas and grilled meat we're tasty and cooked in perfection. The service is impecable.

I ordered the pasta with mushrooms and it was completely wrong (the pasta was overcooked and the mushrooms were not tasty; I also found a strange powder on my plate).
It is also very expensive! For an appetizer made of a few slices of salami and a little ricotta I paid € 24, 00! It's too much!
So, if you want to try it, DO NOT ABSOLUTELY ORDER pasta with mushrooms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was such a lovely experience. Even though the restaurant does not advertise it, there are quite a few vegan options. From homemade tagliatelle with mushrooms to gnocchi with black truffle. The owner was very warm and welcoming.
