★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ambiente rustico ed accogliente. Servizio accurato e clima piacevole. Consiglio vivamente i tagliolini al tonno con burrata e pistacchi, davvero ottimi!! Tornerò sicuramente a provare il menù di terra. Consigliatissimo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ...il locale ci è stato consigliato dall'albergo dove pernottavamo, e devo dire che il mangiare da tutti i punti di vista nulla da eccepire, buono servito alla temperatura giusta per essere mangiato e gli ingredienti di una certa qualità, ma la cosa che mi ha fatto dare solo due stelle è stato il servizio....troppo lento, l'attesa tra una portata e l'altra è eccessiva. Secondo me manca una persona in sala...

Recently renovated restaurant in the heart of the historic center. Very nice and clean. The dishes are very good, typical Tuscan cuisine but with an extra touch. Staff trained and friendly!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come ci ha spiegato il cameriere, il ristorante deve il suo nome dal fatto che il gatto mangia il pesce e loro in estate fanno prevalentemente quello e la volpe mangia la carne che è la parte principale del menu invernale.
L'arredamento, abbastanza moderno ma inserito in un contesto rustico, è curato, ben arredato e l'atmosfera è gradevole.
Subito si è accolti con cordialità in sala, il menù è ricco di proposte, i prezzi non sono bassi ma sono in linea con la qualità del cibo e le porzioni sono discrete.
Noi abbiamo preso la crudité di mare, grigliata mista di pesce, accompagnati da un bicchiere di ottimo vino bianco aromatico, dolce, 2 caffè e una pasta in bianco per la bimba
L'antipasto di mare e la grigliata le abbiamo divise in due ma devo dire che alla fine erano porzioni sufficienti per entrambi, ovviamente era in base alla fame che avevamo quel giorno, sono comunque porzioni abbastanza abbondanti ma per una persona.
Tutto veramente di ottima qualità,soddisfacente e ben presentato.

As the waiter explained to us, the restaurant gets its name from the fact that the cat eats fish and they mostly do that in the summer and the fox eats the meat which is the main part of the winter menu.
The furniture, quite modern but inserted in a rustic context, is well-kept, well furnished and the atmosphere is pleasant.
You are immediately greeted with cordiality in the dining room, the menu is full of proposals, the prices are not low but are in line with the quality of the food and the portions are decent.
We had the crudité of the sea, mixed grilled fish, accompanied by a glass of excellent aromatic white wine, sweet, 2 coffees and a white pasta for the child
We divided the seafood appetizer and the grill in two but I must say that in the end they were sufficient portions for both, obviously it was based on the hunger we had that day, they are still quite generous portions but for one person.
All really good quality, satisfying and well presented.
Really well done, recommended
