Ignoring the fact that we were ordering 6 fish dishes instead of pizzas as the majority of the customers who were as well complaining a lot for the wait. Would not recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were two of four customers. Two tables of two. An inexperienced waiter couldnt cope with order which means in Italy food come at random. Its a family restaurant and they were all there but not remotely interested in helping to sort it out. Very very unfriendly. This restaurant lives on an undeserved reputation and is lucky in busy July and August. Been going to and eating out in this area for 12 years. Nowhere else in this southern Italian town is so unfriendly. Also other restaurants have moved on with the time which is geat to see. On an early March evening it is cold with such a big area. As the place is. Unfortunately the only heater in use was on faced on the seat for the owner. The rest were not used. They had and may still have the best maitre di. In Cesare who was not there last night. His absence highlighted all their problems. There are better and friendlier restaurants not still living on an archaic reputation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pizza was truly fantastic, and the dessert was amazing. We went quite early, so had the place to ourselves (and it's big!) but the staff was welcoming and friendly. Definitely going back!
