★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice restaurant with nice options. The serving size was adequate, but small compared to other places. The bathrooms were very clean. The staff was very nice, patient, and helpful. I would recommend this place because of the proximity to the downtown sites.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i was looking for a place with a good tea selection and found this restaurant close to teatro Olimpico. The restaurant is in the Garzadori palace. Garzadori was a merchant family who was in the Vicenza silk trade. The courtyard has such a peaceful vibe for romantic dinner or a relaxing lunch with friends. after trying one of their teas, i ordered lunch. the pasta was good and dessert was excellent (photo is custard with berry syrup). Recommend this place especially for the environment and outside seating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Garzadori, a restaurant that opened only 3 years ago, offers a sensory experience that is not to be missed by travellers to this beautiful city. Tucked away on a side street just 1 minute from the main piazza, this restaurant boasts food which is not to be faulted, in a beautifully restored venue dating back to 1460, and an ambient, thoughtfully rendered atmosphere. On my most recent visit (a cold December), the music was understated yet highly appropriate, the lighting soft, and the staff very happy to procure us a table.
If and when you come, try the pizza, of which they offer an extensive selection, or the pumpkin risotto (long may they continue to offer this dish!). Alternatively, ask the proprietor to make a recommendation, as he is more than capable of assisting. 5/5, I will go back next time I am in Vicenza and wish the team all the very best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of our favorite restaurants in Vicenza! We have been there with our family, with groups of friends, office dinners, and even a large wine tasting event. They have a wonderful menu and the customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend this place! And, the building is absolutely stunning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really lovely setting and a very extensive menu, with pleasant staff and a great selection. I think I went for the wrong things by experimenting with the local specialities rather than, I suspect from the food envy I had watching other tables, what the restaurant really does best, which looks like the pizzas and crunchy sandwiches. What I had was fine but not outstanding (the rough-cut tartare and the salt cod and polenta). So I'm sure you'll have a great meal here but stick to what you see the locals ordering!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ UPDATE: Still excellent all around. Good chicken tenders and crunchy. Perfectly cooked pizza (not a single burnt piece). Pasta was fantastic.
Fantastic all around.
FOOD: everything was prepared in their own style. All their appetizers were perfect: fried curry chicken, crunchy dishes with eggs. Never had or seen these before, but worth every bite. Pasta was also different then usually italian pasta and fantastic. A lot of sauce with little spiciness, and fresh shrimps on top were perfect. I was told their pizza are excellent as well. Will try that the next time.
SERVICE: the best service I recieve in Vicenza, especially more noticeable after receiving the worst service from Tonazzo. Waiter spoke English well and very friendly. Never had to wait for drinks or meal.
LOCATION: it is in ZTL so you will have to park and walk in. However, the garden in the back was perfect, shaded and cool.
OVERALL: loved the food and loved the service. I will definitely be back for more and worth the five stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ristorante Garzadori is one of the loveliest restaurants I've ever patronised. The garden courtyard (set in a 15th century building) soft warm lighting and chilled out music at the right volume make for a simply sublime setting that perfectly complements the outstanding food. We wandered here for a post-lunch drink and dessert and were so taken by the place and the charming host, Francesco, that we decided to return for dinner! Such a gem of a restaurant.
